I forgot to introduce myself; other than my name; I had to leave my job of 30 years, been working for 41 years and developed a type of arthritis and kidney issues that kept me off more than on the job or sick at the job; I have two young adults; hubby died of cancer last year September and I'm 63 dealing with eyesight fading, nonetheless, since I've seen this channel I have helped my sisters (4 of them) and shared this channel with plenty of people. A little confused; I am scanning over my SSA benefits and letters checking to see if I am receiving what is said I'm supposed to have; due to looking back and catching errors, I've since then learned that if you were told one thing but receive another, you definitely need to follow up; I just come out of my "secure online SS benefit profile" because recently they changed everything and IRS is where you end up before you are directly connected; long story short; they called my survivor's benefit RETIREMENT and I was receiving early retirement and filed for disability and rejected twice and they sent me a letter that I should get a lawyer; did that, just looked at file for updates and schedules and the title was changed from SURVIVORS BENEFIT to RETIREMENT and I'm 63; I hadn't work since 60 and I was taking care of my husband that passed in Sept of 2025 and they granted widow's benefits/survivors and stopped my early retirement, but I see they just added to my retirement and I thought they would drop it and use his but I may have made more by 253 bucks???? is that right?
