Refresh time - Chatbox w/ my domain knowledge.
Hello all, I been away from ICM for a few months and want to dive in back but I notice a lot has changed here! Are the materials in the classroom still current or is there a diff process now? I am currently putting all my domain knowledge in an ICM repo that I hope to leverage into a chatbot at work so support and my other engineers can use it to get information on our BU instead of pinging me as my responsibilities at work just 2x itself. In context the idea is simple. Make folders and markdown files for each topic and in the claude file make sure to have the map pointed to those top level folders but wondering if others have done this for their job or personal life and have suggestions or potential issues?
The Clief Notes AI is live 📣
It’s live. Starting today, everyone in Clief Notes has access to the new Clief Notes AI. The easiest way to use it? Don’t overthink it. Ask it the question you would normally ask me. “Where should I start?” “What should I focus on next?” “Where did you talk about [topic]?” It’ll use what’s already inside Clief Notes to help answer you and point you toward the right lesson or resource when there’s something worth going deeper on. The goal isn’t to give you another AI tool to play with. It’s to make everything already inside this community easier to actually use. If you want Access to it Comment "READY" and we'll send you access to it!

Why use VS Code instead of only Claude Code?
Besides visual and better to edit files, there is any reason? Maybe the autocomplete on code… Also, why no Cursor? A friend of mine that built a big app can’t leave without it.

I use VSC at work so my brain likes to keep both environments the same. :) But just find what you like and use that! If I recall Curser is just a VSC fork with more features?
How many tokens should be used
Hi everyone, hope you're well I've got a question in regards to everyone's token usage! How many tokens is everyone using on average for each sizable feature they include? I understand that a "sizable feature" is different for each person and each project. I currently have the Claude pro subscription and every time I add a feature it takes up 40% roughly of my 5 hour window. I was wondering if everyone is experiencing something similar or perhaps I could be more efficient with my routing. As far as I'm concerned, I've followed what Clief has said as closely as possible, so I'm interested in understanding what other people have implemented to be more efficient with their tokens. To reiterate it's not a bad thing the token usage I do currently, instead I'm genuinely intrigued to see how everyone else is faring.

You can try having the pro sub plan the work and then switch to a lower model or opensource model, etc.
SpaceXAI is acquiring Cursor ($60B)
The AI world keeps changing. Are you keeping up? ha ha SpaceXAI is acquiring Cursor ($60B) and they have been jointly training an AI model which will be released soon in Cursor and Grok Build. What do you think this will change? Will it impact you?
