Good morning. Yesterday we measured the year by steadiness. Today, look at what's within arm's reach. The warm cup in your hand. The roof overhead. The person who checked on you when you didn't ask. The body that carried you out of bed this morning. We train ourselves to scan for what's missing, the next win, the next purchase, the next version of life, and the scanning never ends. But a harvest isn't only what you planted. Some of it is rain that fell on everyone, and you were simply standing in it. This morning, take inventory in the other direction. Not to settle, but to see. There is more on your table than your hurry has let you notice. 💎”Rain does not fall on one roof alone.” — African Proverb 🫶🏾 Practice : One way to practice contentment today: before your first meal or first cup, pause for ten seconds and name three things already in front of you that you once hoped for. Let that be your whole task. 💎Affirmations: Speak these slowly. Let each one land. - I notice what is already here. - I can want more and still honor what I have. - I am standing in blessings I did not have to earn. - There is enough on my table to be thankful for today 🌷Reflection Question: Take two quiet minutes. Look around the space you're in right now, or picture the room where you spend the most time. Let your eyes rest on each thing that once sat on your wish list: the home, the person, the small comfort, the quiet. Let yourself feel how long you waited for some of it. Then ask: what is one thing already on my table that I want to slow down and truly enjoy today, instead of rushing past it? This is your message for this morning, DCT family. Embrace it, carry it throughout the day. I am Coach Lula Jackson, Founder of BlacqueLadi® Enterprise. I will see you at sunrise. Come back and tell me: what's one thing already on your table that you used to wish for? I want to hear it in the comments.
