Your Version
NEXT YEAR STARTS TODAY Next year’s version of you won’t suddenly appear on January 1st. That person is being built by what you choose right now. It’s easy to dream about: ✨ The confidence you want to have 🕊️ The peace you hope to feel ✅ The goals you want to achieve 🌱 The person you want to become But your future self isn’t waiting somewhere in the distance. They are being created through today’s habits, standards, boundaries and decisions. If you continue tolerating the same excuses and repeating the same patterns, next year may become a rerun of this one. Don’t wait for a future date to transform. Start building that person today. Imagine meeting yourself one year from now. What is the ONE change they would thank you for starting today? Complete this sentence in the comments: “One year from now, I will be grateful that today I chose to __________.” 👇

This is a really good reminder, Ishmael. I like the idea that the person we want to become next year is actually being shaped by the small decisions we make today. We often focus so much on the big goal that we forget how much our daily habits and choices matter. For me, one change I’d be grateful to start today is being more consistent with the things I know are important, even when I don’t feel motivated. Small steps can become a completely different life when we keep taking them. I’m curious, when you’re helping people make changes like this, what do you find usually helps them stay consistent after the initial motivation wears off?
