Thank you for your patience with the reschedule of last nights global healing. An opportunity arose that I had to jump on. Last night I was able to meet Attorney Wallace Pate in person. She was the first to sue CPS in the entire country. She won. And since then everyone else has followed her lead. She was also committed to getting restitution for children who were abused in foster care- and got tired of getting demur letters saying the time limit to sue expired- so she wrote legislature and changed the laws. There is so much more. She and I have been working together for 8 months to create a viable plan to save the children. Her speech last night was amazing. And I will share it later. She invited me to Daphna Ziman's book signing "The Gray Zone." A fictional story Daphna, a long time child rights advocate and who has been working side by side with Wallace for 26 years wrote to raise awareness. The book will bring healing to those who are victims because the foster child who was trafficked appears to be the victim, but she carefully wrote it where the victim is actually the lost souls who are miserable and trafficked her. I'll post some of her message later in the substack as well. My first impression of Daphna is she is a beautiful, spiritually attuned woman, if not an incarnated angel who has very much kept her humanitarian and all people are equal and deserve good lives while also living a high abundance life. She and "Buster" from Steely Dan are working on a non-profit to help women and children. Actor, producer, and writer Miguel A. Núñez Jr., perhaps best known for Juwanna Mann, was inspired to create something that would help young people coming out of the foster-care system find a path into the film industry—giving them not only meaningful work and a sense of purpose, but an opportunity to become the storytellers themselves. Because when foster youth are given access to the people and institutions that shape our culture, their voices can begin to shape what our nation—and ultimately the world—sees and consumes.
