Nothing changes
I'm in a situation that has activated my mind and survival (fear) since June. It has been challenging as the sensations and thoughts have been so strong. I have had to just be with them as is - no truth seeking or what they are has been possible, and in this situation I would just have used it to get rid of the uncomfortable sensations, not as an honest search for it. Two insights have come. 1) I could be calm and do my life in a sane way even though the situation is regarded negative. Why is it that I have to fall apart because of a situation? I could have the situation and be whatever I want - the situation is the same if I'm this or that. Before I could feel guilty for having a laugh or going out for a coffee - as if we were supposed to just be home suffering. 2) On the same theme, I was brushing my teeth and it dawned on me that I brushed my teeth before this happened, I will do it during and after it. The trees was standing there before, they stand there now and they will stand there afterwards. As everything else mundane that is going on every day. Nothing changes. I had a sense of another perspective and got deeply calm. I'm going back and forth, but not as intensely and I can work on what stuff is now. A positive thing is that it has forced me to let go of putting value on things that I held strong before, to open up. I will just add that we are doing what needs to be done practically for the situation. Thank you for letting me share and for reading.

@Oliver Varosanec Thank you for taking of your time to respond with pointers for me to look deeper into! I agree with you on the changing quality of "everything", I was more finding peace in that even though this is happening the world keeps spinning, I have to walk the dog etc - that was the "nothing" changes I meant - the everyday things that needs to be done. Anyways, I appreciate what you write, and I will be mindful (expression) about them 🙏
I am Preparing the Next Master Class on Limiting Beliefs and Need Your Help
The people have spoken! You want to see a video on Limiting Beliefs. I want to hear back from you because I have started working on this next masterclass and your input will help. If it's really good I will address it in the video. In terms of working with limiting beliefs: What have you tried already? What were the results and how did it work? What do you envision you need this course for? Please answer in the comments! Best, Brendan

I actually want to add to The Work (Byron Katie) as I'm in a situation right now. So I just started to use it on all the distressing thoughts this morning. For me it clears up the mess of all my judgements and opinions, even opening up to not know (if you do it honestly). It's a tool that I find useful in clearing up reactions. From there it's easier to work on what's true (for me).

@Robert David Thank you for your feedback and thoughts with the work questions! Yeah, that would be really good, right now I am committed to a training that will be finishing in the end of next year (Feldenkrais - movement), so for now I will have to do what I can on my own.
I Found This Interesting, On Creativity and Asking Questions
I found this clip from Joe Rogan as he is interviewing Robert Rodriguez. Perhaps you can get some insight or something you can use if you want.

@Brendan Lea I just wrote on your post Masterclass on limiting beliefs, where this about questions and what to choose has been distracting me from actually doing it properly. It's a bit messy in my head, and I like writing so I will try this out. I am also examining the nature of waiting for... With that the question "What is it?" is not confusing (which it is when I am not clear on what to question), and I don't even feel the urge to come up with an answer... As he says "things happen WHEN you do them".
We're now Not Knowing. A few things to show you.
Hey everyone, We've made some changes around here. I wanted to walk you through them so you know what's available and where to begin. First, the name. The Consciousness Path is now Not Knowing, after Peter's, The Book of Not Knowing. Being willing to not know is a big part of this work. It gives you somewhere to begin looking for yourself. 🌀 Start Here & Roadmap I've made five short Start Here videos to get you going. They also point you to the new Roadmap course, where we've brought together the books, courses and other resources so you can find what interests you. We've basically made a map of Cheng Hsin. Don't get lost and remember, the map is not the territory. - Start Here: https://www.skool.com/not-knowing/classroom/2da2cfdc - The Roadmap: https://www.skool.com/not-knowing/classroom/1ccf2b27 🌀 Weekly Check-Ins for New Members I'm also doing a check-in for new members every Tuesday. Come meet me and the admins, ask a quick question and let us help you find a place to start. You'll find the next one in the Calendar: https://www.skool.com/not-knowing/calendar 🌀Classroom & New Levels We've reorganized the Classroom and changed the level names and rewards. You earn points when other members like your posts and comments, so introduce yourself and join a conversation. At Level 2, you get the Consciousness Weekly Archive. At Level 3, there's a free seat at an eligible one-day online workshop, Peter's newsletter archive and information on writing to Peter directly. Some of the other rewards are: - Level 5: two months in my private group coaching. - Level 6: the Limiting Beliefs Contemplation Course. - Level 7: a one-on-one session with me. - Level 8: Nothing. (seriously) - Level 9: nine free seats at eligible one-day online workshops, to use within one year of reaching the level.

@Dimitar Biserov If anything pops up I will let you know, thank you for offering that.
Would anyone like to join a weekly online discussion and conciousness group, specifically about Ralston's work?
Hey everyone! I’m David, and I’m new here. I came across this community while looking for people who share an interest in Peter Ralston’s work, so I’m glad to have found a space specifically dedicated to it. I’ve been exploring consciousness, meditation, and self-inquiry, and I’ve found Ralston’s emphasis on direct experience particularly interesting. I’m also thinking of putting together a small weekly online discussion group for people interested in exploring Ralston’s work, consciousness, and self-inquiry together. The idea would be to read and discuss a short section or topic each week, then spend some time on contemplation or direct-experience exercises.Nothing formal or teacher-led—just a small group of people with a shared interest who want to explore the work together. If that sounds interesting to anyone here, let us know by commenting on this post. I’d love to hear from others who are share the same interests!
