Hi! I’ve picked up my rujuu today after stopping when my cancer treatments were addling my brain… I was stuck on the sleeve decreases as I really don’t find how n when to decrease… Please help as I thought I had my brain coming back but now I’m doubting it…. I’ve done two of the slip stitch on each side and one chart but think I maybe should have decreased already… Jan Xxx

Hello everyone! I hope you’re all having a magical day. I’m new to the concept of assigned pooling yarn, and I would love to see how you all utilize this type of yarn in your sweaters or knitted tops. I’ve been knitting for about two years now, although I’ve been crocheting for 12 years. As I’ve continued my knitting journey, I’ve realized that I really enjoy set in sleeve constructions. I also appreciate knitted garments worked flat and seamed together, as well as designs that are partially knit flat and partially in the round. I have an hourglass figure with broader shoulders, a fuller bust, and wider hips, and I’ve noticed that certain construction styles are much more complementary to my body shape than others. Because of this, I’m especially interested in seeing how different knitters incorporate assigned pooling yarn into garments with various construction methods. Finish up my rujuu. I just need to add a few more rows and work on the collar cuffs and bottom. I still can’t decided on my color yet. That’s why I’ve waited so long.

I am still working through my rujuu and wondered if anyone else is? I like to go a little off piste with patterns (I believe @Zanete Hussain does too!) and decided early on my cardigan was going to be hooded with a zip closure. I also then decided I wanted to fleece lined and have everything i need to finish. Using techniques I've learned before I centralised the pattern for the hood, starting part way through the chart, and stepped back 5sts each side to allow room for a ribbed edge. Would love to hear from anyone still knitting! 🤩 I still need to: 1. Finish hood ribbing 2. Sleeves 3. Sew in ends 4. Block 5. Pattern, cut and sew in fleece lining 6. Add zip and cover strip 7. Wear!
