Hello all! AI is becoming a much bigger part of everyday life, and some of the use cases are getting craaazyyy. One thing I’ve been especially interested in is using AI to help filter out human hype and bias. I’ve always tried to stay connected with what’s going on in the world, but it feels like almost every news outlet, documentary, or source has some kind of narrative behind it. Sometimes it’s riding a hype train, sometimes it’s political or ideological bias, and sometimes it’s simply trying to get the most views. A lot of the time, I just want to know what’s actually going on. My ultimate goal is to create an AI-powered news feed that gives you a clearer picture of what’s happening in the world without trying to hype things up, push a certain viewpoint, or maximize engagement. Right now, I’ve started with an AI debater. It takes two extreme sides of a topic, has them debate each other, and then gives the arguments to an impartial third-party AI judge. The goal is for that judge to sort through both sides and present the strongest points, weaknesses, and uncertainties as fairly as possible. Looking for ideas of how I can make this bigger, better, and above all impartial 🙂

I tried to 3D print an entire shoe. The first run failed completely. The printer left little piles of plastic around the nozzle instead of a shoe. Root cause of failure being the temperature of the nozzle. I started over. The next run made it through. It came off the printer covered in supports and rough around the edges, but it worked. That is the part I enjoy: break it, inspect what happened, and run it again. Would you wear a 3D printed shoe? Yes or no?

HOTO tools are making my life so much easier! It’s always so hard to find the right bit and these have everything from sanders, to tiny drill bits and every screw head you can imagine!

Ive always been interested in using a canvas / node based video editing application. So far it has been really fun working to develop videos for my other company. The goal for this one is to generate a commercial / social media business. Im also working with HeyGen but ComfyUI allows me to make micro edits. which is really nice.

Playing around with something for the community. Basically, an AI avatar/code buddy that can answer by text or voice right inside the site. Still very much under development. Not trying to “launch” anything. Just testing how useful it can be when AI feels less like a chatbot and more like a teammate. Been messing with agents, Codex-style workflows, voice, and web integration. A lot still breaks. But the direction is pretty interesting.
