Wedding suit prep
I have a wedding to attend on Thursday, the first that's come up since my style identity change earlier this year. I went to David and Co nearby home for a 3 suit combo deal a couple months ago. You get 3 of everything except shoes, which is 1 pair for 3,000 USD after tax and tailoring. I have another suit ready for winter that I'll take photos of later and 1 IOU suit for when their inventory changes over for fall/winter. This 100% linen suit is by Giovanni Bresciani. Shirt is 100% Italian cotton. Flower tie by Bruno Pattelli Anson belt with golf belt buckle Doctor schols shoes (only light brown pair I have atm) I ideally wanted to pick up some more formal looking penny loafers but the wife vetoed that since these shoes work fine.

Thursday Boot Company for Shoes
When I picked up boots from Thursday earlier this year, I saw their collection of casual shoes up close and loved them. I finally went back last week to pick up 2 pairs. Still real leather so they need a bit of a break in, though. I decided to avoid the traditional brown/white combo due to how popular they are and the deep blue stands out quite well. The white suede looks good and feels really comfortable, albeit almost a bowling shoe style 🤪. Their linen shirts were a tad long in the sleeves for me but with a bit of tailoring it could be a decent $100 shirt + tailor fees.

@Antonio Cent a tad painful after a full day 🤣
New favourite brand??
Happy Friday gents!! With temperatures climbing I’ve invested in 2 collars and co polos. Today, I went with a light blue polo, paired with the navy linen trousers I wore yesterday, straw trilby, aviators and Thursdays Loafers (still breaking them in - shoe trees arrived today 🤟). I’m incredibly surprised at how light these polos feel. I’m really liking the feel of the performance fabric too. It drapes very nicely and fits me very well. I’ve always stayed somewhat cautious of buying from brands I haven’t tried on in store, but I’m very happy with what I’ve got. I’m looking forward to buying from them again. I have my mates 30th tomorrow and he’s doing a house party, so my plan is to wear my other polo with some linen shorts, so watch this space. Have a great weekend gents!!

Collars and great company
Hey guys! Hope you’re all having an incredible weekend. Yesterday it was my mates 28th birthday and he celebrated in the best way. Bbq and beers - what better? I went with my go to summer style. Navy blue Collars and Co polo. Beige linen shorts (kept me very cool). Thursday loafers - shoe trees have come in handy with breaking them in. Brown leather anson belt. Straw trilby. I showed up and my mates first response, “Dressed like a true London boy!” I’ll take that! I was a little sore headed this morning, but life can’t be all work, no play now, can it? 😉
