📌 Talent Spotlight: Real Estate Marketing & Operations Specialist
Most small real estate teams hit the same wall. The agent or broker is great with clients, but the listings, the marketing, the CRM and the paperwork keep piling up. Hiring one person for graphics, one for the CRM and one for transaction files gets expensive fast. A good real estate marketing and operations specialist covers the whole stack, from launching a listing to keeping the file clean at closing, and can help with acquisition and development research too. 🕒 A day in the life 1. Launch or update a listing in the MLS and push it to the website and IDX pages 2. Build graphics, a reel or an investment deck for a property 3. Update the CRM, check lead forms and landing pages, and follow up on automations 4. Audit transaction files in Dotloop so nothing is missing before closing 5. Research zoning, comps or market data for the next deal 💰 What businesses typically pay for this role: AVERAGE RANGE: $9 to $13/hr Rates vary with experience and named skills like MLS/Flexmls, Lofty or Follow Up Boss style CRMs, Dotloop, Canva, and 3D tools like SketchUp or Blender. ✅ What makes a great real estate marketing and ops specialist: --> Knows the MLS, the CRM and the transaction platform, not just one of them --> Can design clean listing media without being handed a template every time --> Catches missing paperwork before it becomes a closing problem --> Stays organized across a lot of projects and platforms at once --> Comfortable researching zoning, market data and property details — 🚀 Want to Meet Talent Like Fabian? - RE Marketing, Ops & Development Specialist (South America, Real Estate) Marketing, listings, transactions, and development research almost never live in one person. Most teams end up paying for several hires to cover it. Fabian is based in South America and supports real estate teams. He manages marketing plans and listing launches, builds property graphics, decks, reels and videos, and works inside MLS/Flexmls, Lofty CRM, IDX pages and landing pages. He audits Dotloop files, and he researches zoning, land use and site constraints and builds 3D concept visuals for development projects. That mix is rare.

📌 Talent Spotlight: Short-Term Rental Revenue Manager
Every short-term rental owner and property manager has the same problem. Empty nights cost money, and prices that are too low leave money on the table. A revenue manager fixes that. They watch demand, booking pace, and competitor rates, then change prices so the property earns more without sitting empty. It's quiet work, and when it's done right, owners see it in the numbers. 🕒 A day in the life 1. Check booking pace and market demand across the portfolio 2. Adjust nightly rates, minimum stays, and gap-night pricing in PriceLabs or a similar tool 3. Review competitor rates and listing performance on Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com 4. Flag underperforming listings and suggest fixes to the owner or manager 5. Send updates on occupancy and revenue 💰 What businesses typically pay for this role: AVERAGE RANGE: $6 to $12/hr Rates vary by experience, portfolio size, and named software skills like PriceLabs, Hospitable, and Hostaway. ✅ What makes a great STR revenue manager: --> Reads booking pace and spots problems early --> Comfortable in PriceLabs and a property management system like Hostaway, Guesty, or Hospitable --> Understands competitors and local demand --> Knows the property side, not just the spreadsheet --> Explains pricing changes to owners in plain English — 🚀 Want to Meet Talent Like Aliaa? - STR Revenue Manager (Lahore, Pakistan) A good revenue manager is hard to find, and most owners don't know how much money a bad price costs them until someone fixes it. Aliaa is based in Lahore, Pakistan and supports short-term rental businesses. She started in property management and listing management, then moved into revenue management. Now she tracks market trends, booking pace, and competitor pricing, and adjusts rates in tools like PriceLabs and Hospitable. She raised net revenue by 25% across a 14-listing portfolio. Most people know the pricing side or the property side. She knows both, and that mix is rare. Proud of you, Aliaa. You earned this one.

📌 Talent Spotlight: Property Management Operations & Reservations Lead
Most property managers and vacation rental hosts hit the same wall. Work orders pile up, tenants and guests wait on answers, and vendors go quiet. A good operations lead fixes that. The hard part is finding one who knows the software, writes clear messages, and keeps following up until the job is done. That person keeps small problems from turning into expensive ones. 🕒 A day in the life 1. Check new work orders, tenant messages, and guest messages first thing 2. Send repair requests to vendors and follow up on estimates 3. Update leases, bookings, and calendars in the property software 4. Confirm schedules with tenants, guests, and vendors 5. Close out invoices and keep work order records clean 💰 What businesses typically pay for this role: AVERAGE RANGE: $8 to $12/hr Rates vary by experience and by which tools they already know, like AppFolio, Buildium, Rentvine, Airbnb, OwnerRez, Breezeway, Hostaway, and Hospitable. ✅ What makes a great operations lead: --> Follows up without being asked --> Writes clear messages to tenants, guests, and vendors --> Stays calm when something breaks at a bad time --> Keeps records tidy so nothing gets lost --> Already knows the software, so training takes days, not months — 🚀 Want to Meet Talent Like Jose? - Maintenance Coordinator (South America, Property Management) Good maintenance coordinators are hard to find. Most owners end up chasing vendors and tenants themselves because the people who can do both are rare. Jose is based in South America and supports property management teams. He coordinates maintenance work orders, talks with property managers, tenants, and vendors, follows up on estimates and approvals, schedules repairs, and tracks job progress. He works in AppFolio and Mason, and he's known for following up early so delays don't stack up. Maintenance coordination plus real property management experience in one person is rare. Proud of you, Jose. Thanks for being the one who keeps the repairs moving.

🌎 Why South American talent clicks with US clients: 6 reasons
In my experience, clients stay longer when they hire in South America. I run teams in both regions. These are 6 reasons I see. 1. The clock. Philippine VAs work a night shift for US clients. Colombia, Peru and Ecuador sit on US time. Argentina and Brazil are 1 to 2 hours ahead. Calls happen live. 2. Fewer friction points. Stable internet and clear calls. Rates run 7 to 13 an hour. 3. USD pay. Since 2021, our VAs keep telling us the same thing: dollars from a US company change their income. People paid that well protect the job. 4. Reps with US firms. A lot of our talent has already worked for US companies. They know how US teams run. 5. Pushback. They're more comfortable telling you when something won't work. Hofstede's power distance: Philippines 94, Colombia 67, Argentina 49, US 40. 6. Bilingual. Spanish and English means they can also serve your Spanish-speaking customers. Test every candidate, English levels vary by country. Now the other side. The Philippines often costs less, and it scores higher on English writing. That's true. Quality also varies in any country. Personally, I see less churn when the clock and the pay line up. South America has been excellent. I don't have a study. I just have the pattern across our clients. Thank you for your time and consideration!

🗣️Accent frustration vs accent preference
88% of Americans on a 2,002 person survey said accents frustrate them on service calls. - Frustrated by accent issues: 88% - Familiar accent lowers stress: 35% - Prefer a matching accent: 23% Frustrated is not confused. And annoyed is not “couldn’t understand.” Here is what the research says about understanding. Munro and Derwing had native English speakers listen to accented speech and write down what they heard. Nearly two thirds of the samples scored 91 to 100% correct. They heard the accent. They understood the words. A study of Filipino call center agents found the same split. Clarity and fluency predicted how COMPETENT an agent sounded. While accent mostly predicted whether the caller wanted a longer chat. (COMFORTABLE) Source: Answering Service Care, U.S. Accent Study 2025 (Censuswide, 2,002 adults). When you hire support agents, do you test for clarity or for accent? I test for 2 things. Clarity. Fluency. Train for those. But there is comfort. Which has nothing to do with understanding. My experience in less cosmopolitan areas, where your service caters to an older age group, is that accent really does matter. So clarity first. Then match the accent to your market. And always know what your audience wants! Thank you for your time and consideration!
