Have you ever combined acrylics and oils in a painting? 🎨 Here’s the latest commission I finished that I started with acrylics and then finished off with oils. 🖌️ Starting a painting with acrylics can greatly speed up the process and make the paint a little more manageable if you’re planning on doing it all in one session. (I painted this one in a little over an hour but I plan to do some finishing touches tomorrow) ⏰ A few of you have requested a video on acrylic to oil methods so I’ve been practicing and honing in on a method that works for me. Once I’ve locked it in, I’ll share a full step-by-step guide on how I start from scratch and build up a multi-media painting! 📹 As always, I hope your artistic journeys are faring you well! 🌟 Best, Max P.s. I never ACTUALLY mix acrylics and oils. Acrylics go on first, fully dry, and then I use oil paint. 🖼️
