Federal Loan Program Ending...
I am sure I do not have to repost the email that everyone should have gotten by now, but I will let you guys know what I hear from Ms.Sims about those of us waiting on disbursement 3. But this is not too reassuring, to be honest.
Federal Loan Program Ending...

I transferred out after completing 2 classes because I could never get a straight answer on my questions about this particular issue and their AI auto responses just kept saying (paraphrase): Relax, everything is fine. We can't give you any definitive answers about when because we're waiting on approval for your program which can take up to 4 months. After waiting longer than they said, there was still no expected date. I asked about transferring to a program already approved and they said that process also takes months and none of my credits would transfer. I asked about suspending my classes pending transfer (because why take classes I won't get credit for?) and they said if I don't keep taking classes in the meantime, I'd lose my scholarship. It all seemed very shady to me and I felt like I was ultimately wasting my time. I chose to transfer to a long-standing established school that I could also do fully online. After a lot of research, I went with SNHU. The credits from the 2 classes I took transferred as well as most of my credits from a local community college I went to about 15 years ago. I have an actual human advisor who I can email or call with any questions, their financial aid team has been on point and my loan dispersement processed earlier than expected. I just finished my first 2 classes and got an A and a B. There's actual teachers and free tutoring if you need it. If you're planning on transferring, I'd advise doing it sooner rather than later because once Maestro loses accreditation, it's likely other schools won't accept any transfer credits. I feel for all of you guys who have stuck with them and this is happening. I hope you're all able to get as much credit for your work as possible. Best of luck to all of you.
