As we inch closer to the weekend, I was wondering what everyone was planning to do? Hey Everyone! Today starts the the Great Backyard Bird Count! This annual event begins today, Feb. 13th & goes through Monday, Feb. 16th. This is an excellent excuse to visit your favorite places & observe birds in your area! Participants are asked to take time, as little as 15 minutes, to notice the birds around you: identify them, count them, and submit your counts to help scientists better understand and protect birds around the world.
