Challenge Check in Day One
Welcome back, everyone! 👊 Checking in — how did everyone do with the challenges so far? Drop your progress in the comments. What felt good? What was tough? A few of you asked for tips on pull-ups, so here we go: If pull-ups are tough: • Use an assisted pull-up machine or resistance band • Start with slow negatives — get to the top and lower yourself for 3–5 seconds • Add dead hangs to build grip strength • Practice scapular pull-ups to learn how to engage your back • Keep your core tight and think about driving your elbows down toward your sides And if pull-ups are too easy… guess what? Make them harder. 😈 Try: • Weighted pull-ups • Slow 3–5 second negatives • Pause for 1–2 seconds at the top • Chest-to-bar pull-ups • Wide-grip pull-ups • 1½ reps — all the way up, halfway down, back up, then all the way down • Higher-rep sets with shorter rest periods The goal is simple: meet yourself where you are, then make it a little harder. Don’t just go through the motions. Challenge yourself, track your progress, and get better every week. Now check in below — how did you do?

Intro
Hey all. Meredith from Iowa and starting with Endurance. One thing that will be true about me Dec 31st is I will be showing up for myself and my family. Have the kids involved weekly in a workout and have my garage gym set up and ready for the winter grind. Big goals for 2027 and new to the 300.

@Jennifer Roof thanks! We recently moved so need to get the gym set up. It's a disaster right now.

@Chris Stuhrenberg Thanks!! there doesn't seem to be many of us.
Always choose the Hard Way!
What are some everyday things you do to make your day a little harder? Parking further away or using the floor the biggest distance for you? Taking the stairs instead of the elevator? Squats at your desk? For me, I now work back in a high rise bldg with 16 floors and I’m on 9. So I park 2 floors down in the sub-basement and discovered the stairwell that goes all the way up!
