Physical and mental health.
Hi everyone, not been around much for the last month my physical and mental health as not been great. I am struggling with my diabetes at the moment and it is effecting my sleep, which in turn is doing a number on my mental health. I am also noticing more pain in my legs, I have a couple of Doctors appointments coming up over the next two weeks and hoping we find a way forward to get the help I need to be on a better track with my health. I just wanted to pop on and say I have not given up and just disappeared. I have been using all my physical and social energy for my day job and caring with the Mrs when she needs me. I believe in the method Jake is sharing with us and I am going to keep coming back until I know it like the back of my hand and can put it into use for myself and then teach it to my colleagues. Anyways here to be feeling and doing better in the next few weeks, and being around to ask questions and learn. Michael

Title: You just unlocked one more roadmap 🗺️
You just unlocked one more roadmap. This week, it’s David’s Corner. We’re going to be releasing a new roadmap every single week, but there’s a reason we’re doing them one at a time. I want to make sure you actually have time to go through each one, digest what you’re learning, and complete the work before moving on to the next. Each roadmap is designed to walk you through the material step by step. You’ll go through the lessons, answer questions, take short quizzes, and complete accountability posts along the way. The goal isn’t to give you more content to consume. It’s to help you actually complete what’s already here and put it into practice. So this week, your next step is simple: Go to the Roadmap tab, jump into David’s Corner, and start working your way through it. Next week, we’ll unlock another one. We also have some pretty exciting updates coming to Decster over the next month that will make this experience even better. More on that soon.

First paid project!! Wohoo!
Following a meeting today with an existing IT services and cyber security client, I have come away with the go-ahead to build an ICM to address a particular issue that exists within their business and within their industry as a whole. The client doesn't understand what an ICM is but I demonstrated an internal ICM that we use to him, and he was quite taken by it. The problem they are trying to solve is the management of what are called EOT claims in the construction industry. A delay happens in a construction project e.g. a subcontracting company arrives on site a few days late. Materials are delayed. There's some planning problem. There's some code problem. That kind of thing. These delays then have a double knock-on effect. They affect the contract between the subcontractor and the main contractor, and the contract between the main contractor and the customer. There may be, there often are, financial consequences to these delays that are covered in clauses in the contract. The job of this ICM is to take a standard delay report (we also need to build a GUI for this, as they are currently submitted, willy-nilly) from a monitored mailbox, and based upon the standardized delay incident details contained in the report, locate the appropriate upstream and downstream contracts and examine them for clauses or language that refer to delays. It will generate a human-readable report for the project manager detailing what has happened, what contractual impact it may have, and what to do next and post that to a Teams channel. That's the first stage: the proof of concept that's also a working product and process. Questions welcome.

I am currently using VS code and the built in agent as currently I am unable to purchase a Claude subscription, trying to juggle my finances to allow for a premium sub here and the lowest paid sub on Claude. Hopefully I can make it work.

@David Vogel Thanks David will take a look, just installed Unsloth to try local llm. I tried running local with ollama but felt most things ran too slow. I believe I will be able to run Claude code via Unsloth and use models like qwen 3.8 27b on my 5080 rtx
My ICM pitch
I work as a Digital Transformation consultant, but ever since I showed ICM to one of my clients, it naturally became the center of my activity - now everything turns arrowd it, someway or another. Jake and this community have REALLY changed my live. This means I pitch this stuff a lot. So I asked my ICM_Incubator folder to create a presentation, and then shared that in a chatGPT sites. That's it, just a sales pitch. way less cool than browser extentions or cool tools, but money's got come from somewhere😅... https://icm-operating-system.pedrorc-wt.chatgpt.site/
