Family Plan Money-Saving Tip 🌱
Stretch your meals, support digestion, and increase clean plant protein by using a 1:1 ratio of ground beef to green or brown lentils (or swap the meat completely) in some recipes. This works beautifully in: • Tacos • Shepherd’s pie • Sloppy joes • Chili • Meatballs • Burgers • Pasta sauces + more Lentils absorb flavor well, add fiber and minerals, and help create nourishing meals at a lower cost while supporting a more balanced microbiome and steadier energy. Small intentional swaps add up over time 💛

I also make a "pulled lentils" (rather than pulled pork( using red split lentils, grated carrot, and onion(can be omitted). Serve over rice, cauliflower, or sourdough 😉. It's tasty, cost effective, and high in protein still! It also cooks quick to make in a hurry or can be put in a slow cooker for the day 😉
