We Only Have One Body. Are We Taking Care of It? ❤️🙏
Good Morning Everyone! A Little Reminder About the One Body We Have. ❤️🙏 This morning, I want you to think about something we sometimes take for granted. We only get one body. It's the same body that carries us through every challenge, every stressful day, every good moment, and every difficult season of life. And yet, how often do we actually stop and appreciate it? We spend so much time thinking about what we want to eat next, what tastes good, or what we're craving that sometimes we forget why we're eating in the first place. Food is meant to nourish us. It's meant to provide the building blocks our cells need to function, repair, and keep us healthy. But somewhere along the way, food has also become a constant source of entertainment. We eat because we're bored. Because we're stressed. Because something looks good. Or simply because it's there. There's nothing wrong with enjoying a good meal. I certainly do! 😊 But I believe there's a difference between enjoying our food and allowing food to control our decisions. When we begin paying attention to our biology, something changes. We start asking better questions. Am I actually hungry? Does this food nourish me? How do I feel after eating it? Am I eating because my body needs something, or because my mind wants a distraction? And most importantly, am I taking care of the body I've been blessed with? Health isn't about perfection. It's about being grateful enough for the body we have that we make an effort to care for it every single day. Today, be grateful that you woke up. That you can move, breathe, learn, and make choices that support your health. Don't wait until your health is challenged before you begin appreciating it. Take care of yourself, everyone. We've only got one body, and it's worth looking after. ❤️ A question for you this morning: What's one thing you're grateful your body allows you to do today? God bless you all! 🙏 Eat Based On Your Biology, Not Ideology™

I’m getting ready to have my 9 th grand baby and I love pausing and I Try to notice what they focus on in their play time, and it may be a little thing t me like a ladybug, but it’s a big thing in their world. **What Causes High ApoB? The Number Is Only the Beginning**
ApoB is one of the most useful cardiovascular markers because it gives us a better estimate of the **number of atherogenic lipoprotein particles** circulating in the blood. That includes particles such as LDL, IDL, VLDL remnants, and Lp(a). The simple way to think about it is this: **Higher ApoB usually means more atherogenic particles are circulating.** But this is where people often stop too early. The real question is not just: **“Is my ApoB high?”** The better question is: **“Why is my ApoB high?”** Because two people can have the exact same ApoB level for completely different biological reasons. One person may have a strong genetic tendency and reduced LDL-receptor activity. Another may have insulin resistance and increased VLDL production from the liver. Another may have hypothyroidism slowing particle clearance. Another may be a lean person eating a very-low-carbohydrate diet and experiencing a large increase in LDL and ApoB despite low triglycerides and otherwise good metabolic markers. Another may be actively losing weight and temporarily mobilizing more fat. Another may have very high Lp(a), kidney disease, hormonal changes, diabetes, or a medication effect. That is why one number by itself never tells the whole story. **The pattern matters.** There are really two major ways ApoB rises: **1. You are producing more ApoB-containing particles.** The liver produces VLDL particles, and each of those particles carries one ApoB molecule. As VLDL is metabolized, it can become IDL and ultimately LDL. If the liver is producing more particles, ApoB can rise. This is often seen in people with insulin resistance, poor glucose control, metabolic syndrome, and increased hepatic fat production. **2. You are clearing the particles too slowly.** Your liver uses LDL receptors to remove ApoB-containing particles from circulation. If those receptors are reduced or less active, the particles stay in the blood longer. That can happen with genetics, hypothyroidism, certain dietary responses, hormonal changes, and other conditions.

🥩 HOMEWORK: Is Your Carnivore Diet Actually Complete?
After watching The Carnivore Nutrient Deficiency Switch, I want you to audit what you're actually eating, not simply call it “carnivore.” Your homework 👇 🥩 1. List the animal foods you ate over the last 3 days. Beef? Eggs? Dairy? Seafood? Sardines? Pork? Liver? Shellfish? 🧂 2. What type of salt are you using? Iodized or non-iodized? 🔍 3. Which ONE nutrient from the video surprised you most? Magnesium? Thiamin? Calcium? Vitamin C? Iodine? Something else? 💡 BONUS: Is there one animal food you could add or rotate to broaden your nutrient coverage before automatically reaching for another supplement? Post your answers below. 👇 Remember: “Carnivore” tells me the label. Your food tells me the biology. Eat Based On Your Biology, Not Ideology™ 🧬🥩

I’m pretty boring I eat sardines, eggs, sauerkraut , ribeyes and pork - I completely stay away from chicken now after I heard you on a live talking about them. after a check up they said I needed thyroid meds and i refused until I tested adding iodine in my diet so I started taking 10 drops a day in my water and the next testing I no longer had a thyroid issue and I had the WHOLE PANEL tested! Thanks for sharing your brilliant mind
🥩 HOMEWORK: Are You Getting Enough Magnesium on Carnivore?
This week's homework is a little different. Before you answer anything, I want you to watch my latest YouTube lesson. 🎥 **WATCH THE VIDEO FIRST (15 minutes):** **Can You Eat 2 Pounds of Beef and Still Lack Magnesium?** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXw0q8Ne6TU Here's why I want you to watch it. We spend so much time talking about protein, especially on carnivore. But just because you're eating plenty of nutrient-dense meat doesn't automatically mean you're meeting every nutritional requirement. And magnesium raises some interesting questions, particularly when it comes to muscle function, energy production, and understanding what our bloodwork actually tells us. ### 📝 Your Homework **Step 1: Watch the complete video.** Pay attention to the magnesium calculations, the role magnesium plays inside your cells, and why a normal blood test doesn't always tell the whole story. **Step 2: Calculate your own magnesium intake.** Using Cronometer or another reliable food database, record everything you typically eat and drink in one day. Look at your approximate magnesium intake. Remember to include drinking water if you know its mineral content. **Step 3: Answer these five questions.** 1. How much magnesium are you actually getting each day? 2. How does that compare with the recommended intake for your age and sex? 3. Were you surprised by the amount of magnesium in beef? 4. Have you experienced nighttime cramps, fatigue, or muscle issues? Remember, these symptoms don't automatically mean magnesium deficiency. 5. If you're taking magnesium supplements, which form are you using, and how much *elemental magnesium* are you taking? ### 💬 Share Your Results Below I want you to come back to this thread and share what you discovered. You don't need to post personal bloodwork or medical details. Just tell us what surprised you and what questions came up. And please don't start increasing supplement doses simply because your calculated intake looks low. Dietary estimates are only one part of evaluating nutritional status.

Hello everyone! I’m really excited to join such an amazing community, one who I will be able to relate with - at the moment I’m just part of the free access, but I plan on leveling up. I’m really not the best in technology, I think I’m only one of the few who have never had Facebook or any other social media besides YouTube lol I guess I’m that Dolly Parton song a little bit of a backwards Barbie.. I was a little nervous joining, but I do make comments on the YouTube page so I figured why not live outside the box a little. Maurice, I have made comments on your YouTube page and you’re always so kind to answer back to so many people and I read so many of your comments and I can tell that you really do care for your community , and I’ve told you before in a comment that I have a huge notebook that’s all of your teachings , so when you post videos on YouTube, I do use that as my classroom. - I didn’t expect you to remember that because trust me you have hundreds of followers thousands let’s make it millions.. you deserve it-But now I’m here and when I do level up, I can even go deeper., like I said I’m 52 and for the last few years I’ve finally figured out how my body is actually working-and it really is important to eat properly, to give movement throughout the day, sleep is important, which that’s still really hard for me, also that blood work is so important and you help break down what lab numbers mean, mostly I’m learningto figure out my personal biology. It was mind blowing.!! why on earth I never thought it was important before perimenopause .. 😁 oh boy, I’m here now -I’m forever a student of yours so I can stay ahead of this next chapter of my life. I cannot wait to share my before and after results.-God created our bodies perfect and we do not have to stay sick or stuck Oh, one more thing when I read your comments, to myself-I’m always reading them slowly, patiently and I hear your voice 🤣❤️ thanks again for this opportunity.
