Bad performance for Brand Search - what to fix?
In the case of a brand search campaign having bad performance, what are the things I should check and potentially change in order to get better results? right now i am using a max clicks bid strategy with a bid limit set.

@Jeff Fatherree Thx for the long reply - i really appreciate. Let me try to answer it as best as i can. Changing the campaign bid strategy is definitely something I will consider, though I think I will still wait for a few weeks until doing that. Checking the search terms report I do not see any search terms including Amazon in them. My brand name does contain somewhat of a common word but not like a product type such as couch. The main search term is actually brand name + shoes Due to this I created the search campaign with site links directing to different product types. I forgot that when originally replying. So customers actually do get directed to a page where they can see the relevant products they are looking for. but of course if they click on just the standard big headline then they will be sent to the homepage. I decided to just create a negative keyword list instead of waiting for the brand list to be approved
Need help scaling store with a lot of potential!
So I got a dropshipping store which has gotten a really good roas (3-3.5) but lately it has gone down to like a 2.7 when i scaled the budget to 260€ While going through potential fixes I noticed that my feed only pmax campaign (no troas) has a lot of sales coming from brand search terms. Would it be a good idea to set all brand search terms as negative keywords in the pmax and setup a new branded shopping campaign? Could that help refocus the pmax to go for cold traffic and divert the branded searches to the branded shopping campaign and potentially make the feed only pmax scaleable again?
