I've been thinking about whether 𝗦𝗸𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆. And before I make any decision, I want to hear from 𝘆𝗼𝘂 the people who are actually part of Nexus. There are some really interesting benefits to going public, but there are also some things we would need to think carefully about. 🌍 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 A public community can give Nexus more opportunities to be discovered beyond the people who already know about us. Skool's Discovery system looks at things like member growth, activity and retention when ranking communities, and Growth Boost can also increase visibility through Discovery and Skool's network. 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 The more people discovering Nexus, the more potential eyes on the communities, services and businesses our members are building. That could mean more connections, collaborations and opportunities. 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗦𝗸𝗼𝗼𝗹 A public presence can also make it easier for people who are searching for things around Skool, communities and community building to discover Nexus. 🔒 𝘽𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙤𝙤… Going public isn't automatically better. We'd need to think about: • How much of our conversations and content we want visible to non-members • Whether members are comfortable with their posts being seen outside the community • Moderation and keeping the quality of the community high • Whether making more content visible could change the feeling of Nexus And that's where 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗲. I don't want Nexus to grow at the expense of what makes it a good place to be. So I'm opening this up for discussion. 👇 What do YOU think? 𝗪𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗸𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰? And more importantly… 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁 — 𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁? Tell me honestly. There are no right or wrong answers here. I want to understand how 𝘆𝗼𝘂 feel before I decide what makes sense for Nexus. ❤️
