And once the event is over, it doesn’t have to disappear into the internet abyss — you can share your replays too. We’ll also support you with promoting your events over in The Classifieds. If you’re posting there, we’ll help support your posts there too. And there’s more coming… VIPs will soon have access to workshops and 1:1 sessions with Des and me, where we can actually get stuck into your events with you, your promotion, your messaging, your audience and all those little things that can make the difference between “I posted it” and “people actually turned up.” 😂 Plus, you’ve got our Coffee, Chat & Collab sessions, opportunities to connect with other members, collaborate, get your events seen and tap into the support we’re continuing to build around VIP. Okay people… it’s time. I promised you an announcement, Des has given me the green light, and I have been BURSTING to show you what we’ve been building behind the scenes. 🥁🥁🥁 SKOOL EVENTS DAILY IS OFFICIALLY ONLINE! 🎉 Yep. We’ve gone and got ourselves a proper website. And I have to say… it’s looking rather fabulous. 😍 We’ve just massively upgraded what VIP gets you — and you’ve got 48 hours to get it at the old price. Your events are already there, and people can now find them by Today, This Week, Upcoming Events, category and even by host. We’ve brought over From Heather’s Desk, Experts Corner, Editor’s Picks, our Partners, and we’ve got more coming too — including our Collaboration Station. 👉 LINK TO THE NEW SKOOL EVENTS DAILY WEBSITE HERE And possibly one of my favourite bits… NO MORE FORMS! 🙌 VIP members can use the Magic Button to send us their event straight from their calendar. I press a few of my own magic buttons at this end and — hey presto — your event appears on the website. People can click into your event, find out more and go straight through to join or register. Now, here comes the important bit… ⏰ YOU HAVE 48 HOURS. VIP is currently $9 a month. In 48 hours, it goes up to $12 a month. And yes… at some point it may well go up again. So if you’ve been sitting on the fence wondering whether to become a VIP, I’d suggest the fence is becoming a rather expensive place to sit. 😂 👉 UPGRADE TO VIP HERE Only VIP members can submit and promote their events through Skool Events Daily. BUT the website itself is open for everyone to browse, discover events and attend them. Which means your events are no longer just sitting inside our community or tucked away in the Weekly Bulletin. We now have another way of getting them seen, found and shared much further afield. We’re still polishing things, tweaking things and probably pressing the occasional button we shouldn’t 😂 — but it’s live, it’s working and your events are already there.

I’m going to be trialling something new for members who have an event coming up — short, informal interviews all about you and your event. The idea is to give you a bit more space to talk about what you’ve got coming up, what people can expect, who it’s for and why they might want to join you. But there’s another reason I want to try this. Sometimes a post or event description only tells you so much. Actually seeing and hearing the person behind the event gives people a chance to get a feel for your energy, your personality and whether they feel they align with you. We’ll start by sharing the interviews here in Skool Events Daily and, if they work well, we’ll look at featuring them on our website and possibly our YouTube channel too — giving your event even more visibility.
