Question for the group
What do you think are Athletic Trainers’ strengths compared to other allied health providers? (PTs/OTs, strength trainers, EMTs, RDs, etc)

@Brennon King @Cam Deckett you ask other rehab pros to do this and they’d be deer in the headlights

@Cam Deckett had to have been so hard for them to say that
Another Skool page I love
I wanted to take the opportunity to share another Skool page I’ve been a part of since its inception. This is geared toward all rehab clinicians and is run by a PT, Jason Schuster who owns intricate art spine and body solutions which is a CEU provider of dry needling, nutrition, spinal manipulation and more. I took Jason’s dry needling course in June of 2024 and when I tell you it’s impossible not to love the guy, I mean it. There is tons of value in his Skool page, just like this one with CEUs and clinical and business strategies and even resources for consulting to improve your clientele. Sharing my link below. https://www.skool.com/ceu/about?ref=b076c55fac7a4cb8ba3ab99f381d5f6c
🚨 Big changes are coming to the CD Elite AT Hub on November 1
I started this group because ATs deserve a place to grow, both in their clinical skills and in building the careers they want. I’ve spent the past few weeks building out what that looks like. Starting November 1, here’s what’s being added: 📚 CD Elite Academy (15 CEUs). This is my full breakdown of how I approach rehab, start to finish: - Philosophy. The principles behind how I evaluate and treat - Tissues and physiology. What’s actually happening in the body as it gets injured, heals, and adapts - Joint-by-joint breakdowns of the entire body - High-level movement systems. Where it all comes together, so you can see the whole athlete and not just the injury You’ll come out with 15 CEUs and a complete rehab framework you can use on your next athlete. 🔬 Research Review CEU Library. New research reviews added regularly, each worth CEU's. 💼 CD Elite Athletic Trainer Business course. How to build your own path as an AT, whether that’s growing in your current job or creating your own. 🩺 Weekly case calls every Wednesday. We work through real rehab cases together. 🤝 AT Business Roundtable on Fridays. Open discussion on contracts, side income, starting a business, and getting paid what you’re worth. 🏆 $150 Member of the Month. It’s staying. These are just the first additions. More courses, calls, and opportunities for growth are already planned. With these additions, the Hub becomes a paid community on November 1. Founding price: $10/month for the first 20 members. After that it’s $20/month. Founding members keep $10 for as long as they stay. Here is something I am really excited about!!! 💰 Every member gets profit sharing. You’ll have your own affiliate link and earn 40% of every membership you bring in, every month they stay. At the $20 rate: - 2 referrals cover your founding membership - 3 referrals cover the full $20 rate - 13 referrals and you’re making over $100 a month just for being part of the group I want this to be a place where ATs thrive, and that should include you getting paid for helping it grow.

Send a cold DM to the entire Bengals roster. One of the players drove an hour today to come do a rehab session and now we are planning to lock in once a week til the end of the season. INSANE! Put yourself out there people!

LE RTP in Collegiate Soccer
Hi! I’m seeking insight on time restrictions for soccer players returning from a LE soft tissue injury, such as a hamstring strain… what time restrictions do you typically utilize? How much do you increase per game? I know each patient is different and you cannot generalize RTP; however, I’m hoping to gather some knowledge on how other ATCs typically progress an athlete through their first few games back. Keep in mind this athlete has transitioned into training fully. Thank you!

A little late your post here but in my experience, your communication and collaboration with your coaching staff is vital in these situations which a lot of people have touched on. Ideally, they care just as much about all of the factors that you are considering when returning to full participation. In the past, I have liked to keep things fluid and not have hard restrictions. This is only an option, as Cam said, with the ability to sub in and out. This creates flexibility in your plan if things are going well for the athlete vs the contrary. You can plan for a certain amount but if all of a sudden they don’t like how they feel or don’t trust themselves or are playing timid, they aren’t ready, time to sub. Or they’re playing like they never left, they’re producing, vital to the team winning, perhaps you move the capped time limit up! Hope this helps!
