Hi everyone! I’m Flobrenne, an RN in Florida with 10+ years of nursing experience. 🩺 I’m currently in the pre-launch phase of building my own mobile IV hydration and wellness business, IV-FLO. I’m also an RN-MSN student at WGU, so I’m balancing school, nursing, and building my business. I’m here to learn the right way to launch, avoid costly mistakes, and build a successful and compliant IV hydration business from the ground up. “Yesterday I spent the entire day on the phone. I was told my initial LLC name couldn’t be cleared because it had the word ‘IV’ in it, and that I needed to change my LLC to a PLLC instead. That wasn’t what I wanted, but I agreed just so I wouldn’t have to change the name — only to find out I still need an LLC, not a PLLC, for everything to work. The paperwork has already been switched over and submitted, and now I have to wait a week before I can make any more changes. I’m a little worried about the time this is costing me, and I’ll also need to call the IRS to get things switched back. It feels like a step back, but I just have to wait it out.”
