Made 11 recordings today with Vic's new backing track aaaa GGGG. Here are two.

I am in DC helping my daughter and her family and had the opportunity to do some more exposure therapy on the mall of the Capitol with the Washington Monument in the background on one of the videos and the Capitol Building in the other video. My grandson was sweet to video it for me. I haven’t played for a week due to travel and being here, and I didn’t have time to warm up before I played. I appreciate Vic preparing me for moments like this in my lessons. I liked that I went into some hymns and I like that I did it with people walking by. It was fun. I would have improved in confidence and taking more time.

I got my flute back from the shop and took it to the woods to improvise. I had been listening to ‘No Diggity’ so I used that and tooled around in F#. I like how I picked a simple motif from the song to lock in with. Next time I’d like to go off on my own ideas more rather than sticking to the song I remember.

Hi! Yesterday I made 5 recordings with one of Vic's backing tracks. I picked these two because they had better melodies and longer phrases than the others. I liked the flute choir sound. I should have varied the articulations and rhythms more to make it more interesting.
