Add loose patches of color, leaving some of the page showing. Scribble, swipe, or dab—there is no special technique required. 2. Tear one large paper rectangle and glue it slightly off-center. 3. Write “PERMISSION SLIP” across the top. 4. Complete this sentence: “Today, I give myself permission to…” You might choose make a mess, experiment, use the good supplies, or stop before the page feels perfect. 5. Sign and date your slip as if it were an official form. 6. Add dots, loops, lines, crosses, washi tape, or stickers around it. 7. Finish with the example quote or write a sentence of your own. Optional Reflection: What would I try if I did not have to be good at it? Example Quote: “I do not need permission—but I can give it to myself.” Creative Garnish: Add a tiny gold “APPROVED” mark or checkbox.
