t’s my last operational day working from the cabin in the garden. As of tomorrow, we roll out what will finally look like a full working day from the warehouse. If anyone is thinking of building a purpose‑built space in their garden, I couldn’t recommend it enough. It’s been absolutely fantastic, and I’ve loved every minute of it — from freezing mornings with the Calor gas heater to those boiling‑hot summer days where you come out looking like you’ve done a full set of swimmers. The real reason for the move is simple: we’ve outgrown it. Between the core stores, eBay Live, and the rag side of the business, there wasn’t room to swing a cat in there. We ended up taking on containers and turning the garden into something that looked like a small‑scale dumping ground. Now we’re finally free of all that, and it’s genuinely exciting. But I won’t lie — a little part of me is going to miss it.

Where is the best place to source from? I currently source from mainly charity shops but with price going extreme I want to find different ways. I know carboots but over winter when there isnt anything where do you find your stock? Im scared to try wholesalers incase I fall on my arse and lose alot of money ive tried vinted sniping but I dont appear to be great at it. I may sound like a rambling idiot sorry 🫶
