How it earns you money: On Facebook: - Facebook puts ads BETWEEN stories. If you post many stories daily, you get a share from Story Ads. - You can also add Link Sticker to drive people to your WhatsApp, website, or paid class. This is where most Kenyans make money - selling, not just views. - Requirement: You need to be in Content Monetization Program. On Instagram: - Instagram stories don't pay directly, but they make you money 3 ways: 1. Affiliate Links: "Swipe up" link to Jumia, Amazon products. 2. Selling: Post your products, M-Pesa till, WhatsApp number daily. 3. Close Friends Subscription: People pay KES 100-300/month to see exclusive stories. Pro Tip for Skool: Tell them - Post 5-8 stories per day. Mix personal + teaching + selling. 80% value, 20% selling. 2. PUBLIC POST WITH PHOTOS What it is: Normal feed post - 1 photo or carousel (many photos). How it earns you money: On Facebook: - This is your HIGHEST PAYING format in 2025/2026. Facebook now pays for photo posts through Performance Bonus / Content Monetization. - You get paid based on Reach, Likes, Comments, Shares. One viral photo like your "I ARE" series can make $20-$100. - Photos with text on them get more shares = more money. On Instagram: - Instagram pays through Bonus if you are invited. - But main money is: Brands pay you for photo posts. With 5k+ followers in a niche (tech, fashion, farming), local brands will pay KES 2k-10k per post. - Use carousel (5-10 photos) - Instagram pushes it more. On YouTube: - YouTube has Community Tab (photo posts). When you get 500 subscribers, you can post photos there. It drives views to your videos, which brings more ad money.
