Hey everyone - I have an important update regarding our upcoming ChatBot Live and some major changes happening with Custom GPTs at OpenAI. But first... I want to thank @Theresia Malm for bringing this to my attention. It's an important update for anyone who has created Custom GPTs... so please read this one ⤵️ 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗔𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝗚𝗣𝗧𝘀 (the ChatBots we've been building). Under the new access model, creation of new Custom GPTs is 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗱𝘂 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘀. And this has already taken effect. ‼️ 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗮 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗼𝗻. 🤖 𝘊𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘮 𝘎𝘗𝘛𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘢 𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘮𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘭 - OpenAI is moving toward its Workspace Agents platform, which means what we've known as Custom GPTs will ultimately change significantly ... including their architecture, how they're built and managed, and potentially how we use them in our businesses. 🔥 And this transition is happening sooner than I personally would like: 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲!! This is when OpenAI is scheduled to 𝘀𝗵𝘂𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸-𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 that existing setups have relied on. And your ChatBots will need to be migrated to OpenAI's newer Workspace Agents in order to continue functioning...𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘐 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘥𝘰 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘹𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘉𝘰𝘵𝘴. One of the implications going forward that I am aware of already is 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴. Right now, if you have access to creating Custom GPTs, there isn't a separate usage charge for each ChatBot interaction ... usage is essentially part of your ChatGPT plan. With the move toward Workspace Agents, the model is shifting toward 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱, 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲, much more like the usage-based pricing we're accustomed to seeing with APIs. Because of these changes 👉🏻 𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸'𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗕𝗼𝘁 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲. I don't want to teach you a workflow simply because it's what we've been doing when the underlying platform and economics are changing underneath us.
