Schedule posts
I have read a couple of comments in some communities about their search for Skool extension capable of scheduling posts. Is this something Catknows already capable of ? or @Niklas Schröer ... is this something in development ? 🙏🪶🕯️🏮✨💫❤️🚀

@Iyaraa Iam sadly I haven’t found the time to record the videos .. But to schedule posts - all you need to do is to use what Claude is already offering. No need to to implement that into catknows as it’s also nothing a „bridge“ could do. Think about it as this: If you have a bridge, somebody can cross a river using it from both sides (Skool & Any AI) but in order to make somebody cross that bridge on a schedule, there must be somebody else telling that person to cross it while also saying when, how often and what to bring or get from the other end of that bringe.

@Iyaraa Iam exactly 👍🏽

I've used the Claude interface to gain a comprehensive transcription of a video in a group that I am a member of, and I wanted to know if you thought it was feasible to download the video. I think if you have access to the video legally and you paid for it, then there's no difference between you doing a screen recording and a download. Not sure of the morals and ethics around this, but I'm not going show it to anybody else. It would only be for my records. Does this feasibly work? How would it work?

💛 What catknows costs
Someone asked about the three plans, so: Right now everyone here pays nothing. Not a trial, not a cut-down version. You get all of it, including the hosted one where I run the server and you just connect your AI. 🧾 So why three buttons Standard is $0. You run catknows on your own computer. The code is public and it is yours, so this one stays free whatever happens to the rest. Premium is $7 a month. That is the hosted one, where I run the server and you skip the setup. Free while we are small. VIP is $67 a month and gets you nothing extra. Not a single feature. You would be paying so that everyone else does not have to. That is the whole thing. ⏳ The bit worth reading twice At 100 members, Premium starts costing money. Servers do that. Everyone here before then keeps it free. Forever. Not free for a year, not free until I change my mind about it. We are at 39. 🐾 And if you never want to pay me anything Then don't. Standard is the full tool, running on your machine with your login, and your data never leaves the house. The free version is not going to quietly get worse. That would defeat the point of having built this. Questions in the comments 👇

@Fiona Morris sure :) Local (on your machine): - Running catknows. on your machine is free and will stay free forever. - You can modify the provided code (from GitHub) however you want to - Everything it does come from your computer and stays on your computer (you are your own server) - It is capable of doing the same things the hosted version can - You can run it with a locally running AI (most secure) or the ones that are supported anyway by the hosted version Hosted version: - stay free until we hit 100 members (the 100 members won’t ever need to pay for the service) - It’s way more convenient than running it locally - You don’t need to update anything - Security is my concern to keep you and the data secure (everything is covered legally and hosted in Germany and France - Connectable to most common AI providers All in all I’d use the open source version on GitHub BUT many if not most people aren’t thaaaaat techy to set it up on their own computer (even though you could just tell a code AI to do it for you). With that being said the hosted version mainly solves the „convenience“ problem and will therefore be charged with a small amount ($7) in the future because I’m paying for the server + the legal stuff behind the scenes. Hope I didn’t miss anything 😂

@Dan Schaad true that 🙌🏽
Have you tested catknows yet? 😼
Quick pulse check, hoomans. Vote down below 👇 Already tested it? Drop your feedback in the comments. The good, the bad, the "why does the cat do THAT". Not yet? bffr. Here's the whole thing, 5 minutes flat: Go to catknows.app Set up your account Connect it to your AI (ChatGPT, Claude, whatever you use) Then the actual test: tell your AI to write a feedback post right here in this community using catknows. That's it. That's the test. 😼 Classroom videos are in the works, coming soon. Why now: catknows replaces the CRMs and all the other tools you're paying for. For free. Once we hit 100 members, the hosted service at catknows.app goes paid (not much, $7/month, but paid). Everyone who's in before that keeps it free. Forever. And if you can handle a computer (or your AI can), the open-source version runs on your own machine for free anyway. So tell your friends. You're doing them the biggest favor of their tool-buying lives: stop paying for stuff you can get for free. Yes, all of you 🐾: @Keith Berg @Angela Day @Ben B. @Kaseem Bradley @Jenna Kelly @Blue Mojo @Dan Schaad @Elfina Luk @Iyaraa Iam @Stefan Butteweg @Frances Scully @Mindy Molein @Sean Hegarty @The Skool Cat @Allan R. @Mercedes Aspland @Rositsa Aleksandrova @Joseph Isosaki @Lydia Lowery Busler @Éva Raposa @Nicole Horton @Joe DeFilippo @Tommy Gan @Ina Tenniswood @Mark Zammit @Adrian Callejas @Fiona Morris @Marius Prigge

@Lydia Lowery Busler First of all we and I are not forcing you to do anything 🙏🏽! May you tell me what kind of concern you have in regards to the tool you are using?

@Lydia Lowery Busler totally get that! Could you tell me what kind of incompatibility you have concerns about?
How to activate catknows in your AI (MUST READ)
Hey hoomans 👋 catknows connects your Skool account to the AI you already use. Your AI then sees what YOU see when you're logged in: your communities, their members and posts, your DMs, even the discovery charts. And it answers questions about all of it. Two ways in. Pick one. ☁️ HOSTED, zero setup 1. catknows.app → "Get started", sign up with your email. 2. Click the link in the confirmation mail. It's mandatory. 3. Back on catknows.app: "account" (top right), sign in. 4. Click "Connect Skool". A real browser opens on Skool's own login page. Your password goes straight to Skool, never to me. 5. Add this to your AI as a custom connector: mcp.catknows.app/mcp Claude and ChatGPT: Settings → Connectors → add custom. Use a desktop browser for step 4. On phones the keyboard doesn't reach that window yet. Known bug, on the list. 💻 SELF HOSTED, free forever github.com/nklsschroeer707/catknows Needs Python and a terminal, or an AI that can drive one. This way also gets the vault: catknows writes what it fetches into Markdown on your disk, so it remembers. 😼 YOUR FIRST QUESTION "Which Skool communities am I in?" A list with roles and member counts means it all works. Then the real ones: "Who joined this month but never posted?" · "Which post got the most comments this week?" · "Summarize my unread DMs." 🔍 WHAT THIS IS, PLAINLY You're giving an AI your eyes, and only when you ask, your fingers. It sees exactly what you see when logged in. No more. It can post or DM for you, but every write shows you the text first and waits for your yes. Nothing is stored on my side. Fetched, answered, gone. Disconnect any time with one click. 💰 WHAT IT COSTS Self hosted: $0, forever. Hosted: free now, $7/month or $77/year once we hit 100 members. Everyone here before member 100 keeps it free, forever. Joining early is the whole discount. Something breaks? Post it. That's how most of this got built. ᓚᘏᗢ

@Des Cooke once you connected your Claude with the catknows mcp (in the connector section in settings) You don’t have to do that regularly - from what I know your Skool login is valid for 365 days. So relogging needs to be done once a year
