What would change if you approached each day expecting something good to happen? We can’t control everything that happens, but we can control how we show up, how we treat others, the value we provide, and what we do with the opportunities in front of us. Expect good things. Then go do your part.

I volunteered to bring watermelon for my son’s soccer team after the game. He promptly sent me a YouTube video on how to cut it. “Low-key, I can’t have you embarrassing me in front of my teammates.” 😂 He even came with me to buy a container because a gallon bag apparently wasn’t good enough. When I handed it to the coach, he said, “Wow, you cut it just like I would!” I told him my son had sent me a tutorial, and we both laughed. The team got watermelon, my son avoided embarrassment, and everyone had a great night. 🍉

Money can be lost and earned again. Time is different. Once a moment is gone, we cannot get it back. A good reminder to be intentional about where we invest our time, who we spend it with, and what truly deserves it. What are you doing today with the time you will never get back?

Apparently when you’re part of the family, you’re expected to help with the dishes too. 😂 My “canine kid”, Martin, takes his responsibilities very seriously. One of the quickest ways to make a conversation about price is to lead with price. Instead, talk about the problem you solve and the outcome you help create. When people understand the value you provide, the conversation can shift from: “How much does it cost?” to… “How can you help me?” Think about how you describe what you do. Are you leading with what you charge or the value you provide?
