FJ Inspiration & Mindset
Don't waste today trying to recover yesterday. This is something I think many of us need to hear from time to time. Maybe you've missed a few days. Maybe you've lost momentum. Maybe you haven't been as consistent as you wanted to be. Maybe you've spent too much time wondering why you aren't further ahead by now. That's life. And that's business. But here's the trap: We look backwards at the time we've lost... and then we spend today worrying about yesterday. Now we've lost two days instead of one. You don't need to recover yesterday. Yesterday is gone. You don't need to catch up with someone else's journey. You don't need to suddenly do everything you didn't do last month. And you certainly don't need to punish yourself for losing momentum. You simply need to ask: "What can I do today?" One lesson. One piece of content. One conversation. One funnel improvement. One action. One small win. Then tomorrow, do it again. That's how momentum comes back. Not through one massive burst of motivation... but through small actions repeated consistently. And as we move into the final stretch of the year, perhaps this is the mindset we need: Don't try to finish the year by desperately making up for everything you didn't do. Finish it by becoming consistent again. Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can. Then build from there. Because you don't need yesterday to change your future. You need today. And then another today. And another. That's how momentum is rebuilt. That's how the compounding starts again. Don't waste today trying to recover yesterday. Build momentum from where you are. ❤️ Francois

A SETBACK IS DATA — NOT A STOP SIGN
Day 70/365 Mindset Online business will give you feedback. Sometimes the feedback will be encouraging. Sometimes it won't. A post may receive little engagement. An offer may not convert. A Reel may not perform as expected. A conversation may go nowhere. A strategy may need to change. The question is: What do you do with that information? Angela Duckworth's Grit explores the importance of perseverance when pursuing long-term goals. Inspirational Quote: "Our potential is one thing. What we do with it is quite another." — Angela Duckworth Today's Starting Over Principle "A setback may change your plan, but it does not have to change your belief in what is still possible." Instead of automatically saying: "I'm not good at this." Ask: What can this teach me? What needs to change? What should I test next? What did I learn? That turns disappointment into information. A setback becomes useful when you learn from it. Question: What is one recent business setback that could teach you something valuable?

AI is not our compertition... Refusing to change is... Every generation faces change. The printing press. Electricity. The automobile. The internet. And now, artificial intelligence. Yet history shows us something interesting: The people who thrive are rarely the ones who resist change. They're the ones who learn to adapt. There is a lot of fear around AI at the moment. Some people worry that it will replace jobs. Others believe it will make certain skills obsolete. Perhaps. But I believe we're asking the wrong question. Instead of asking: "Will AI replace me?" Maybe we should ask: "How can I use AI to become more capable, more productive, and more valuable?" That's exactly the journey we are on together... What started as a search for new opportunities turned into the discovery of tools that can help us learn faster, create faster, solve problems faster, and achieve more than we ever could on our own. AI is not the opportunity. People who learn how to use it are. The future has always belonged to those willing to learn. And I believe that remains true today. ❤️Francois

@Reinette Steyn That makes two or more of us!! My observation is that MOST of the people in FJ is in their 35-50+ - we are not a "young" crowd - we are a mature crowd looking for solutions

DM BOT! @Last
I did it! Took me long enough! I started last night and today in-between dishes , washing and feeding!... 😁... I completed my 1st DM BOT... Tried, tested and SUCCESS!! BUT... Please tell me if I understand correctly. If I have chosen my FB page name (vs a specific post), and the same person responds with the magic word on a different post,... it should trigger the sequence again, right??
