TradingView for Windows only ships as an MSIX package and cannot be installed/ opened in debug mode, which is required for MCP and Claude connection. Anyone know of a workaround TradingView instal thats avoid the MS windows trap?

Thanks for following up, Lewis. Appreciate it. Well I have a Claude skill that does a variety of tests based on upload of a screenshot of a Tradingview chart - if I want to do that. It’s clunky. Even though for me it’s just a click on TV’s camera, and drag into Claude. Re Joseph’s Pinescript solution. I can now get ATR in real time from my broker Tastytrade while it analyses the option chains for viable Call Option trades. So Joseph’s solution is not required now. And recently Tingmei ( one of the ZeroOne members) told me of a solution getting Claude to install TV on Windows desktop using cursor. She has got it to work on Windows desktop so I’ll give that a go. (When I find out about cursor.) Btw TingMei and I partnering up for your trading ai programme. Looking forward to the ai trading course you’ve got.

Yes. All working fine now. Didn’t need to use Cursor but the prompt worked ok. Thanks.

@Becky Conllins-Tracey to get an edge you need to have a strategy with a proven Positive Expectancy.

@Becky Conllins-Tracey i only buy DITM Call Options, 14-60 day contracts, uptrend momentum and Qullamaggie style breakouts. There are around 20 or so rules for entries and some for exits. Claude ai runs the rules mostly automatically using Ovtlyr Trading Intelligence, TradingView and my broker app, and presents me with a list of candidates - i trade the “clean” trades that have the best potential return%.
I'm live right now
Laptop's open and I'm going live. Grab your link here and it drops you straight in: https://part-timequant.com/live I'm starting with the idea itself, which is the ten minutes everybody messages me about afterwards. Don't miss that part. And I'll answer your specific questions at the end so you can tailor this to what you actually trade. If you're driving, cooking, or halfway through something, join on your phone and just listen. You can come back to the screen later in the build. If the room says it's full, refresh once. People drop in and out in the first few minutes.

Keeps asking me to register. Where is the webinar link?
Want to see how Claude made £180,000 in trading profits?
Honestly I wasn’t sure I’d share this post. Last February, I had an idea and I set myself a crazy goal. I started with £1,000 and gave myself one year to try to turn it into a profit with AI… Honestly? I knew it could get messy, but I wanted to see what could happen if I used AI to help me trade. Since February, I became obsessed with quant trading. I spent dozens of hours studying the research methods and risk rules used by quant traders at major hedge funds, and applying those principles to my own trading. Then I started translating those quant principles into instructions and systems that AI could carry out… A lot of those hours were me learning from my mistakes. But some of the AI systems worked better than I hoped. Because when I got my agents properly educated, and running? My system bought dips perfectly, even when the rest of the market was having a rough time. And a lot of those trades happened while I was asleep. But I also realized how incredibly hard it was to manage all these systems with a market that’s constantly changing. One day, my system missed a trade because the server did not run as it should. I realized these agents needed more than a smart trading idea. I needed to guarantee they could run at the right time. While a lot of people are outsourcing their thinking to AI, I did the opposite. I gave it my best ideas. It executed. Suddenly I saw tens of thousands of pounds in profit. If you want trading to happen while you sleep, it requires more brains, not less. You need to test it, watch it, and have strong safety rules in place. That got me thinking. What if there was a much easier way to take an idea, turn it into clear trading rules, test it with real market data, and see if it could be trusted? So you can utilize the math that generates me consistent profits, without having to spend all that time in front of your computer. What if you could do all of that without writing any of your own code? What if you could use those quant principles through AI, drawing on the trial and error behind my own 180k result?

@Becky Conllins-Tracey for some reason I had it down for 2pm U.K. time. But it’s at 11pm tonight. If you click on the calendar note link it pops a webinar link in Skool I guess that’s it.

I commented before, but another thought occurred. A lot of attendees including myself, think Lewis did not present his case well. Result was, he lost a big part of his audience who did not sign up. If i was Lewis i would run that whole show again, but do it very differently, in a follow up. Lewis was in the role of salesman in that session, and many were not convinced, including me. Few are reluctant to buy from a salesman just showing us book covers and using hard-sell tactics. Time limited, buy now or else tactics. Tacky. Thats not the Lewis i know from his YT vids. In his YT vids he is in the role of consultant, showing us demos and how he built stuff. Very believable and convincing. Even i , a non techy, believe i can do what Lewis teaches in his YT vids. In the recent extravaganza session, A demo of part of the solution would have gone a long way, showing the before and after perhaps. Show us, not just talk about it. Testimonials from a few of his pioneers would go even further.
