This morning, while rushing with my granddaughter, I stepped into a full elevator. Everyone looked very serious, I wondered whether they were upset, although I couldn't know what everyone was feeling. With a beaming smile, I said, "Good morning, everyone!" They all answered in a chorus! 🤣 When we reached the ground floor, I added, "Have a blessed day, everyone." They responded again, and I noticed some smiles. As I left, I heard someone say, "Wow, that's so nice - who is that?"😊 It reminded of something I love doing back home: greeting people in supermarkets, reading all till operators' name badges and offering a kind, personal comment. I've missed those little exchanges. Today reminded me how much joy I find in acknowledging the people around me. A greeting can open a conversation. A smile can receive one in return. Today I proved: I AM someone who brings kindness into everyday encounters by noticing people and greeting them with warmth. Where could you share a little sunshine today? ☀
