I passed!
The worst part is I live in a tiny apartment and don't have any rooms without words (or things) everywhere - art on walls, cat food shelves, bookshelves, etc. so I had to move to my balcony last minute after they said no to the room I planned to use. And then I forgot to remove my watch, so they messaged me during the test and made me move my laptop camera around a bunch to re-check the space. So during the test, every time someone drove by with loud radio or something, I stressed that they would invalidate my test. 😅😭 Definitely 0 out of 10, do not recommend starting the exam with that kind of last-minute stress. I wish there was a way we could have submitted room photos ahead of time so I could plan better. I probably should have put that in the feedback at the end, but I was just so glad to be done I skipped the surveys. 🙃 My journey: I started using Claude Co-Work and Claude Code in April as a non-coder. I reached out to join this group & take the test last weekend I used claudestudycards.com, claudecertificationguide.com, and the Purcell practice exam throughout the week to prep. You can all do it!
Available dates for the exam
Hey everyone! Heads up, I scheduled my exam and slots are tight, only 1 spot on August 9th, next one was August 27th. Doesn't seem like there's a ton of availability right now (I was actually scheduled for tomorrow, but had to postpone because of a legal name mismatch issue 🫠 , and now I can't test until that's sorted). I'm in the Europe timezone, so not sure if there's more availability if you're on EST/CST. If anyone's feeling close to "ready to test," I'd book now, my hunch is spots will get scarcer as we get closer to the October deadline and more people rush to get certified.

@Hsin-chih Lee I also got the random phone number. I was glad that they asked for mine specifically at start of the exam.
Claude Study Cards is live at www.claudestudycards.com
Finally, it's here! When I started prepping for the CCAF, the official materials read like they were written for developers, were dry and could not get through them. So I built my own solution from: YouTube series, practice exams, the official guide on repeat - and used Claude Code to check everything against Anthropic's developer docs so it was actually correct. What is claudestudycards.com? - 382 flashcards, organized by the exam's 5 official domains and their real weightings - Every card tagged to a task statement on the exam blueprint — nothing off-topic - Every card explains the answer in plain English first, then why each wrong option is wrong - A Random Practice Exam — 60 timed questions, fresh draw every time, for reps - formatted just like the Pearson exam (not the actual exam content, but the layout you will see on the screen). - A Static Practice Exam — same test every time, so you can measure whether you're improving - Bookmarks, a Review Queue, and progress tracking that saves to your account Why use it - The exam isn't "spot the fake answer." It's "pick the smartest of four real answers." The cards teach you how. - Written for non-technical people. Terms defined, analogies for everything. - Free for our group What I'm asking Use it like you're actually studying — a few real sessions. When something is confusing, broken, or wrong, tell me. Screenshot it, post it here. No note is too small. 👉 claudestudycards.com — sign up with your email, confirm, you're in. Some of you have gotten ahold of this before today. I would do a hard refresh on your screen (Command +R on mac, not sure on windows) to have it sync with the current code so you see the updated version. It's pretty self explanatory, but watch the video for a tour: https://youtu.be/YJgCohcBdIc

First, what an amazing build! I want to add in to Paula's feedback about the chunks. For me, I would really love the ability to preset the number of cards I want to review in a particular session. It would also be cool if I could select which domains. For example, if I knew I only had a certain amount of time and I just wanted to go through 25 cards, and I want to select domains that I know I need practice in, it could make a customized practice session for me that way. I also love the "explain the answer in your own words" thing, and I would love to second that with "ask more questions about why." I definitely found myself wanting to argue or get a deeper explanation sometimes. It would be great if I could do that right there in the card, rather than having to screenshot the card and stick it in Claude and then ask my questions that way.

@Anita Ortiz Yep I saw all of those features! Basically, I do a better job when I can't rely on memorization, so my study preference is always to randomize the crap out of everything. Basically this idea would be a more flexible version of the Mixed review. I saw that within the domains you can randomize, but ideally I would love to randomize across domains - like the mixed review does, but the ability to preset the # of cards and multi-select domains as additional functionality. But also, these ideas are definitely not meant to imply that any of the functionality that you have on the site isn't amazing, because it all is. I'm just mentioning them because you asked for ideas and feedback in the YouTube video and I don't ever stop having ideas. 😂😅
