NEW TO SKOOL? What Now? THIS ONE’S WORTH A LOOK 👀
If you’ve recently started your own Skool community and you’ve reached that slightly bewildering stage of… “Right. I’ve got the community. Now what on earth do I put in the classroom?” 😂 Shannon Boyer, who runs The Classifieds, has an event coming up tomorrow that I think could be particularly useful for those of you who are still finding your feet with Skool. It’s called “Now What? Your Skool Class” and she’ll be looking at how to build your classroom with a bit more intention and strategy — not just filling it with courses and hoping somebody eventually wanders in and buys something. The session is about creating a classroom that actually supports your members, helps them get results and fits with how you intend to monetise your community. It’s on Wednesday 7th October at 3pm New York time, and if you’re fairly new to building a Skool community, I’d definitely pop along and have a listen. And if you haven’t discovered The Classifieds yet, it’s worth having a nose around there too. Shannon has created a community specifically around helping Skoolers get their businesses, communities, offers and events seen. 👉 EVENT LINK Sometimes the difficult bit isn’t starting the community. It’s the “Right… what do I do with the bloody thing now?” bit. 😂

Showing You How Simple It Is.
I have created this video as a guide to help you understand how entering your events with us is super simple. I talk you through, and show you, the simple process of what you need to do and then what I have to do

I Gave Myself The Week Off… 😂
Well, sort of. Last week I decided to give myself a break from creating all the articles and extra bits and pieces that usually keep me occupied behind the scenes at SED. Not from SED itself. You weren't getting rid of me that easily. 😂 And actually, it was quite nice to stand back for a minute and realise just how much there is now for you to explore without me constantly creating something new. Because there is loads happening this week. Events are still being added to the website, there are all sorts of different subjects and communities represented, and you can now simply pop over whenever you fancy and see what's coming up. 👉 https://eventsdaily.online/events So I'm easing myself back into the articles and other bits this week. But in the meantime, go and have a nose around the events. Attend one. Support another SED member. Find someone you've never come across before. Or just be nosy and see what everyone else is up to. You know I'm always going to approve of that last one. 😂

@Heather Wilson I’m sure you and @Des Dreckett have everything very well laid out and easy to follow… I think I am just holding myself back, as live events are outside my comfort zone.

“𝘾𝙖𝙡𝙢, 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚.” Three words that made me smile when I received this feedback about our Thrive & Shine Networking session. 🧡 And then there was: “Great conversation!” That's what we're creating inside 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝗹𝗲.💫 Not networking where you feel you have to perform. Not a room full of people waiting for their turn to sell. But genuine conversations between women with like-minded goals, different experiences and a willingness to connect and collaborate. 🌟 Next 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 & 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 Wednesday 9th September 10 am UK time 🤝 Next week we have 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗹𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.... 👀 Des And I Are Plotting Something...
And before we get too carried away, we want to know if this is something you’d actually find useful. 😂 We’re looking at putting together a series all about creating better events that actually get results. Because we see both ends of the scale... 😬 People who have never run an event and keep thinking, “I really should do one…” — but never quite get started. 🏃 And people who jump straight in, create the event, throw a post up and GO... but miss some of the little things that could make a BIG difference to the result. So we’re thinking of creating a sequence covering Beginner, Intermediate and Pro levels, taking you through the whole event journey. From... 💡 Choosing the right type of event 🎯 Working out what you actually want it to achieve ✍️ Creating an event people want to attend 📣 How to post and talk about your event 🤝 Getting more eyes on it 🎤 Running the event 🔄 Following up and repurposing it afterwards And plenty in between! Some would be short live workshops, some pre-recorded, and we’d also have Q&A sessions where you can bring us your event questions. We’re thinking short, practical and easy to actually USE — not hours of us talking at you. 😂 BUT... we want your input first. Would this help you? And more importantly... 👇 Tell us in the comments: what is the ONE thing about creating, promoting or running events that you need the most help with? Your answers may well decide what Des and I create first. 👀
