๐Ÿฅฉ Mid-week Lesson: 4.10i Inner Motives
[Better later than never.. Comment on the Skool app some of your personal takeaways for the rest of group to share. Or check out the improved Wealth Artistry Youtube channel too!] Is a must have something that is a "non-negotiable" in our lives. Otherwise the driving parts of our core being will cease to exist. Can a mighty oak tree be happy? All I know is when it gets what it needs, it will thrive unto greatness. Similarly with suitable work it can be simpler than an emotional attachment of the pleasure of happiness. Remember the discovery of our best work is by way of meeting our unique motives & values in the environments that we find ourselves in. Or we can also ignore these internal motives & values and the best parts of us will be lost. A common outcome of chasing riches, fortunes, & fame is a feeling of being stuck in the construct of making a living yet missing the beauty of having a worthwhile life. A healthy career progression in the corporate arena is entry level, seniority, supervision, and then on to upper management. However not all on that path buy into the ideals of leadership.. They may have the title or status even authority but fail to have other follow in their steps. Not all bosses are leaders & not all leaders are bosses. IYKYK. Truly itโ€™s those that are intimately bond by their inner values that we give our loyalty to. So a useful tactic in developing our work experience and promotions is knowing and bargaining your worth. Whenever your potential is being limited by your current position at work. Take the initiative the find a better source of employment and prepare for a resignation. If your current employer can see the value that you bring, they ought to call your ante and give you a raise or promote you to a higher position. If not, continue on to finding a role that aligns with your inward drivers & values. I have found that I personally am most fond of commanding smaller groups of peers and receiving adequate pay in exchange for my time. Having a role of leadership has allowed me to be at my best and sustain years of fulfilling work. The last thing I would want for you is to arrive to the latter years in life lacking significance. ๐Ÿ’ก "The mass of most men live lives of quiet desperation". So going beyond mere duty, for me and mine, taking a lead role (without title) is where I belong and you can see it in the way I carry myself. Now, my opinions and standards do not have to be yours. The reality though is that the underlying principle still remains. Here are 5 primary drivers (motives/ values) that I perceive to make up order in what would be social chaos.

๐Ÿฅฉ Mid-week Lesson: 4.9i Suitable Work
[Better later than never.. Comment on the Skool app some of your personal takeaways for the rest of group to share. Or check out the improved Wealth Artistry Youtube channel too!] It is a sense or feeling that we have during the progression towards what we want most in life. Depending on how you were raised, your ideal may be to have the same day all day, every day. Or that each day is a new day and you ought to make the most of it. Moreover, there are no two same individuals and there are many walks of life. So you might as well choose the practical option of having fulfilling employment to make a good living. Because the reality is that real wealth; the kind that lasts, the kind that's worth keeping, requires an extra-ordinary persistence over the course of many years. And the price of any meaningful financial success without inherent rewards is a very heavy burden to carry even for the best of us. For me the finish line of achievement is made bearable by delightful treats along the way of suitable work. I have found two main camps of thought regarding work ethic: Workers & Thinkers. A clue that I've caught is to be somewhere in between the two. The first is a person of action, a believer in hard labor. When given a task, they are a go to, to get it done. Plainly they lack the ability to think deeply and find it hard to have fun while at work. The second is a person of ambition, who has big big goals. At times they come across as pie in the sky and have the ability to see things others miss and figure out better ways could be done here.. However their track record is likely underwhelming and only concerned with having a good time. When you are just starting out and exploring your options a little ambition and thought goes a long way. But without the former one sets themselves up for failure if the plans don't include the work. I believe finding suitable work is essential to capturing both aspects of working and thinking. ๐Ÿ’ก Whether we are shifting our paradigm or transitioning into a new season in life it's all about how we handle the adjustment. It is impressive to see one eagerly seeking the study of philosophy, strategy & finance, combining career and household money matters, immersing oneself into mental practices and daily habits. While the day-to-day person wastes their time seeking pleasure, procrastinating & overthinking, or being too busy to complete anything. So I urge you to learn "how to think," reason, calculate, and use your time most-wisely. I'm sure you have people in your life that show up to the job only for the money, "life is too hard," or flatout just takers. They must've missed the memo on cultivating our calling or mission of being satisfied on the journey to something grander. IYKYK. I trust you will find the same sense of accomplishment I have and more. Many of my peers and counterparts cannot fathom the game I'm playing when they see me at work. Conversely, work can be ever consuming so it's paramount Iโ€™ve choosen areas of interest to sustain my enthusiasm. Developing a joyful attitude within a fulfilling vocation has helped me 1) outshine any potential competitor and 2) more importantly sit well with my soul. Truly what we do for work matters and that environment influences how we do said work.
