I'm looking for more leads!
Hello. I'm Greg. I work in sales and I'm pretty good at following up and staying in touch with my clients on my own.. but I need a way to generate more leads and specifically more relevant leads. I saw one of the youtube videos that was super relevant to that goal.. so here I am! I'm looking for more tips like this and how to set up automations properly.

Hi @Greg B Welcome to the forum! It’s great to see you taking the initiative to seek out more relevant leads (who doesn't 😉) Your experience in following up and maintaining relationships with clients is such a valuable asset in sales. When it comes to generating more leads, there are several strategies you can explore. Have you considered leveraging social media platforms, like LinkedIn, to expand your network? It’s an excellent place to connect with potential clients and industry peers. You can even automate some of your outreach efforts using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator to help you identify and connect with more targeted prospects. Also, a solid prospecting strategy could be to create content that showcases your expertise. This could be in the form of blog posts, webinars, or even social media updates that provide value. People are more likely to reach out when they see someone knowledgeable in their field. For automation, a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system can be incredibly helpful in streamlining your processes. Platforms like HubSpot or Salesforce can assist in managing your leads and automating follow-ups. You might want to set up email sequences for nurturing leads who have shown some interest but haven’t taken the final step yet. What specific kind of leads are you looking for? Understanding your target audience better can really help in honing your approach. Are there particular industries or demographics that resonate with your product/service? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts! Keep up the awesome work, and I appreciate you sharing your journey with us. Together, we can brainstorm some more ideas that could work for you! @Jake Dawson we all would like to automate this to the next level is my guess....

Firstly, I want to commend you on your proactive approach to lead generation in such a sensitive field Greg. It’s entirely understandable that outreach can be tricky in debt resolution, and focusing on bringing leads to you is a great strategy! Creating a social media page or blog is an excellent idea. It can provide a platform for educating potential clients about their options, sharing success stories, and offering tips to manage debt more effectively. Content that resonates emotionally, such as stories of transformation or expert advice, can really help build trust with your audience. As for automation, starting small is key! You might want to explore tools like Zapier or Make.com (I prefer this one), which can help connect different apps you’re using without overwhelming you. Using an online form to gather information from leads is a smart move and can definitely make the initial outreach feel more approachable for potential clients. You could use tools like Google Forms, Typeform, Peperform, or Jotform to create user-friendly online forms. After collecting information, integrating a webhook to send the data to Make.com is a fantastic way to automate the workflow. With Make.com, you can set up scenarios that allow you to manage leads seamlessly—automatically adding them to your CRM, sending welcome emails, or triggering follow-ups based on their input. The possibilities really are extensive, and it can save you a lot of time while providing a personalized experience for your leads. Have you decided what specific information you’d like to gather from your leads on that form? Deciding on the key questions could help ensure you’re collecting valuable insights that can inform your follow-up communications. Also, it might be interesting to see what kind of feedback you could get from your audience once you launch the form and the blog/social media channels. Engaging them in the content creation process could lead to even more relevant topics to discuss!

Sales strategist looking to optimize
Hi everyone! I'm Jen. I'm looking for ways to cut out some of the simple but time consuming work that myself and other sales associates have to regularly go through to follow up with clients, enter in new leads into our CRM etc.

Hi @Jen Whitley It's awesome that you're looking to optimize your sales processes. Automating routine tasks like follow-ups and data entry can really enhance productivity. Have you considered using tools like Make.com for automation? It can help integrate your CRM with other apps you use. What CRM are you currently working with? Knowing this could lead to more tailored suggestions! I’m curious to hear more about the specific tasks you find most time-consuming. Your experience could spark some valuable tips from others in the community. Thanks for sharing your journey with us, and I look forward to your updates!

Here's a little bit about me :)
My name is Jake (as you already know haha), and I’m originally from Austin, Texas. I’m all about AI, sales automation, and figuring out ways to make workflows easier. I’ve been in the sales game for a while, and over the last 2.5 years, I got obsessed with using tools like Make and ChatGPT to streamline everything - from automating emails to tasks and more. If you’re looking for the templates I promised, it’s super easy! Just go to the Classroom tab, click on the tutorial you want to watch, and you’ll see a full breakdown underneath it with a link to download the template and import it straight into your Make scenario. Excited to be here and looking forward to connecting with everyone! I’d love to know where you’re from and what projects you’re working on—especially if you’re into automation or just trying to make life a little easier. Let’s crush it together!
