Sometimes AI Needs a Push in the Right Direction
Can anyone relate to this story? So I was having AI help me today build a line graph chart for sign-ups, and you can see how it evolved after each prompt generation. Sometimes the AI reminds me a little bit like a child because you give it a task and it says, "Oh, I can do this by myself. I don't need your help, Dad." But I did give it two chances to fix it. In the second attempt, I said that it was very crowded and it should use the entire space to make this way more readable. And then in the last attempt, I said: "I know that there are NPM packages out there that would be able to have a line graph that is out of the box already made for this type of request. Let's look into that option. " And that's where you finally see the final line graph being made and it found a NPM package that could be used. I'm always telling students out there, who are doing this by hand, that if you are thinking about something that would really make your app more useful (ie a calendar modal, pie charts..etc), there might already be something out there that would make your job way easier.

@Rob Vanarsdall so, i normally find a question or problem the AI is unable to do reliably. From there, I know more of what I have. So, at times for coding, I have less frustration but from what i hear what's coming on version 6 of gpt, it's wanting to do everything for me instead of any back and forth. I'm not sure I can trust that until I see it work. Even then, I'd have to enter the water one toe at a time. Like for my own media player framework. So, frustration will come when new things arrive I suppose. Otherwise, I''m using the tool.

@Rob Vanarsdall hmm...i enjoy seeing it think as well. I thought I could ask for that at any time...now i'll have to double check with the gpt6 out. So, here's a link as to what i meant about asking it a question to see what i've got. https://chatgpt.com/s/t_6aa049de01688191a427b65aad756814
What's Your Tab Count?
I just had to force-quit my Chrome browser on my MacBook. It was using too much memory! I can't tell you how many times that I've gone and opened up a new window, didn't realize I had it open, and all these tabs are open. I'm notorious for having so many tabs open. I mean right now if I open my mobile chrome there are tons of new tabs open. I'm glad they historically close it. 🤔 So I guess my question to you all: what's your average tab count?

Making my own music player
I’ve been creating my own music lately using AI (GPT and Suno). The music is posted on Ricko Osteen channel of YouTube. There are various songs but I’m finding that there are more coming so I’m thinking that I may want to make my own player. So, to make one is where the challenge. I’ll report my findings once I get the framework done. Thanks! Rick

Which one is your go to for mobile os?
So what camp are you in? Are you Android or are you Apple? I feel like once you pick one, it's like you're with that device for life. I don't know. What about you guys? Do you switch it up like you would socks?

The <br> in HTML
Just looking at this code what does the <BR> do? What does BR stand for? As a pilot we would get a meteorological report called METAR and in the report it would read something like this: METAR KJFK 242235Z 28024G36KT 7SM -. RA BR BKN009 OVC020CB 26/24 And the BR in there would equate to "Mist" and we would remember it as "Baby Rain" for the "BR"
