After popular demand, we are running another cohort of our Mastering Intensive program, which is by far our most popular 6-week intensive. Time and again, self-recording artists tell us that they struggle to get their music to sound as good as it does in their head. They have an idea of how they want their music to sound, but have no idea how to actually get there, and are left guessing. That’s why we created a 6-week mentorship program that focuses on ONE key discipline that will transforms your entire outlook. That discipline is mastering, and by providing you with an understanding of the mastering process, we equip you with the language to translate your vision into reality, master your own music, and get clear on what you're actually aiming for. We’re running another cohort of Mastering Intensive, starting October 6th. Click below to learn more about the program, and discover how learning mastering can make you a better artist, producer and engineer. 👉 Learn more: https://courses.mastering.com/product/mastering-intensive?utm_source=MemberSkool 🚨 PREMIUM MEMBERS: As a member you can get 60% off. Hey everyone! An absolute legend of Irish music passed away far too soon this week. Some of you may know Glen Hansard, and if you don’t, take some time this week to check out his music. From busking on the streets of Dublin to Oscar glory, he always seemed to keep his feet firmly on the ground. Thanks for the tunes, Glen.

SUNO AI - Love it, Hate it, Tool or Trash it?

First time creating original music in years. Used to mess around on GarageBand all the time making music for potential video games in my head. Got really consistent at it but never really focussed on the finesse of it all, the EQ, compression, mixing side of things. Just throwing together melodic and harmonic ideas that sounded good to me. I want to get back into this, I really enjoy making music, but I want to change my brain to be able to simultaneously write my themes but also keep bearing in mind things like balance, both in terms of volumes and frequencies. My older brain and ears knows that there are issues to do with both in this idea that I've spent a couple hours on. If anyone passes and fancies and a listen and potentially a bit of feedback, I'm absolutely grateful for either!
