🏆 Thursday October 8: PublishFlow × PublisherChamp Q4 Challenge + live call
Two books or two hundred. On Thursday, everyone starts at zero. Together with PublisherChamp we launch the PublishFlow × PublisherChamp Q4 Challenge, and only books you create in PublishFlow from October 1 count. 📅 Thursday, October 8, 7 PM CET (6 PM London, 1 PM New York, 10 AM Los Angeles) 51 prizes, worth over $16,000 in total. Including: ...a MacBook Air ...VIP tickets to future DPE live events ...and months of PublishFlow Pro and PublisherChamp Pro. Newcomers can get an extra prize on top, so this is not only for the big publishers in here. I will explain everything live in the call on Thursday: how it works, which books count and how you join. And at the same time my interview with Eiri from PublisherChamp goes live on YouTube. (it was a great talk; I think everybody can learn something from this video!) If you wanted a reason to start your next book, here it is :D See you Thursday 👋

How exciting 😎
New Update: Translate Covers and A+, Video Ad Improvements, and More
Hey everyone, we just shipped a big update to PublishFlow. Two new things I'm really excited about: 🌍 Translate Visuals (Pro) You have a finished book and want to publish it in another language? Pick the book, pick the language, and PublishFlow rebuilds your cover, back cover, full cover and A+ banners with translated text. You can edit every line before it renders, and each language edition gets its own card under "Translated Visuals". You'll find it as a new tile under "+ new Visuals" (first screenshot). 🎬 Video Ads: direct your presenter Your AI presenter now takes direction. Choose a Presentation, for example pointing at the cover or open hands, and a Mood, from a warm smile to serious (second screenshot). You can also switch captions off in the editor, and a cinematic trailer can now run without narration, on music alone. ✨ Also improved - Design Studio: drop caps that follow your book's typeface, a quarter-width image size for QR codes and logos, and tables that keep their rows together - PublishFlow starts faster and shows fewer loading screens - Fixed: a stalled fact-check rewrite can be closed again, and a stray invisible character no longer blocks a print export The Design Studio will get an EPUB Export option later this week. It's in testing phase and looking promising. If you try Translate Visuals or the new presenter moods, post your result in the comments. I'd love to see what you make, and tell me what's still missing. Roman

Amazing 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
🆕🟠 KDP new upload limit: 2 books a week instead of 10.
If you haven't heard the news yet, feel free to watch my new YouTube video about the recent change in the KDP upload guidelines: https://youtu.be/eFtpVzPqNM4 Reactions have been mixed. For publishers with large teams or those who publish in multiple languages, this is a major disadvantage. On the other hand, people who have been quickly publishing cheap AI-generated books are being penalized, which will hopefully raise the overall quality of books on Amazon again. All in all, I think it’s a rather positive development. Feel free to share your opinion in the comments; I’m curious to hear what you think.

This is great news - particularly for serious self-publishers
New Templates for A+ Content in Visuals comming soon.
I created 30 new templates for the A+ Content Tool in Visuals 🎉 We will implement them next week and let you know as soon as they are online. If you have suggestions for A+ Content modules that you are missing, please comment below, and we will add them with the update next week. 👇🏼

Hi Andrey, if I were to use PublishFlow for just creating A+ for books that I've recently published (testing some high demand/low comp medium content niches) I'd obviously have to use credits, rather than the whole book credits from my annual pro subscription - right? Or how would I do that?

@Varvara Todorovic Thank you Varvara for clarifying that. I understand. All the best.
A major discovery: Better Writing Quality 🏅
We ran a series of benchmark tests, and one thing stood out: the quality of a PublishFlow book depends heavily on the style and tone guide behind it. The gap between a strong guide and a weak one was dramatic. A weak guide pulls the whole book down, the writing reads worse and the content lands with less value. A strong guide produces genuinely exceptional books. In practice that meant if you did not spend time tuning your style and tone guide, the outcome carried more variance than it should have. Some books came out excellent, others less so, without a clear reason why. We have now solved that at the source. The style and tone generation has been rebuilt to be optimized by default. In a benchmark test accross 4 books, the new generation beat every model we tested across all categories. By far. ✅ For new books, every style and tone guide you create in PublishFlow, whichever way you create it, is now fully optimized. Great writing style is the default now, not something you have to get right by hand. ℹ️ For your existing books: if you are happy with how they read, you do not need to do anything, your guide was already doing its job. But if the writing style ever felt a little off, you can now regenerate the style and tone guide and rewrite the book on top of it. Attached you find our transparent benchmarks, tested against the strongest AI models out there.

This is a fantastic upgrade, thank you. I know when I first stated self publishing, I struggled to figure out how to fully cover all the necessary elements to produce effective style and tone guides within my book outlines. I learned the hard way. But this is sooo much better. Thank you
