I would also say that AI indicates this solely due to numbers, NOT percentages. That would put an entirely different bent on this conversation. Also, looking at this from an objective lens, one has to look at the underlying foundation for this current distrust and dislike of monotheistic religions. I am including Islam as according to AI, it is also heavily persecuted; it just does not match the NUMBERS of Christianity. Judaism is also persecuted, but again, see above. So, what is the underlying reason? Could it be that two of the three have attempted throughout the centuries to force through manipulation, coercion, violence, or death to conform? While with Christianity, some might say this no longer happens, I would beg to disagree. I cannot even begin to count how many people have literally knocked on my door trying to talk me into converting. How many missionaries go out to supposedly do good deeds but also include mandatory religious pressure to convert. How many times I have heard people fight for the big ten and prayer (Christian) to be put back into PUBLIC schools. How many Americans support the NEW Pledge of Allegiance. I can continue on. Christianity is invasive and many people are opposed to that, alone. People should absolutely be able to practice and believe as they wish but it is like sex: who you sleep with, unless it is illegal, should be kept in YOUR bedroom. Stay out of mine. Do this? Persecution will quickly end. Halda
