I’ve had a thought recently, and I think artists who make music (like chappell roan and hot to go) KNOW that the song is going to blow up, but how? I have a hypothesis that they create these songs with the intention of it ending up where they want it to be (the club, radio, on everyone’s fyp, etc). But I also don’t think this means that they just try to aim for the next algorithmic song, but instead align it with their brand beforehand. Next time you make a song, just ask yourself where you want it to end up!
