🗣️ ENGLISH FOUNDATIONS | "I'LL LET YOU KNOW."
Tôi sẽ báo cho bạn biết. Last time we learned what to say AFTER you check: "That works for me!" 👍 But what if you CAN'T check right now? Maybe your calendar is at home, or you need to ask your boss or family. 🤔 Today's new power phrase: ⭐ I'll let you know. — Tôi sẽ báo cho bạn biết. Add a time to make it even better: I'll let you know tonight / tomorrow / by Friday. Then keep your promise and come back later: "Hi! I checked. Saturday works for me!" ✅ 🎥 YOUR VIDEO CHALLENGE | THỬ THÁCH VIDEO Record a short video (30–60 seconds) and post it in the comments below 👇 Answer this question: "Hey! Are you free this weekend?" In your answer, try to: ☑️ Say you're not sure ☑️ Use "I'll let you know" + a time ☑️ Then pretend it's later: "Hi! I checked…" ☑️ Finish the plan with "That works for me!" Don't write a script first. Just speak! 💙 Then watch 2 classmates' videos and leave them a comment. 💙 Speak Now. Fix Later. — Cứ nói trước. Sửa sau. 🔄 Bring it back. Connect it. Use it again.
Output challenge. Remember last time!
@Nga Tran sounds good!
Advanced Membership Coaching Part 10: Summarize, Synthesize, and Conclude
Today’s Topic Where do people work best? ⏱️ Total lesson time: 40 minutes 1. Opening Output Challenge — 6 Minutes Listen to three perspectives: Speaker A “I work best at home because it is quiet, comfortable, and free from unnecessary interruptions.” Speaker B “I prefer working in an office because I can communicate with my team more easily and solve problems faster.” Speaker C “I think a flexible schedule is best. People should work at home when they need concentration and come to the office when collaboration is necessary.” Round 1: Summarize Explain each speaker’s position: - Speaker A believes… - Speaker B emphasizes… - Speaker C recommends… Round 2: Synthesize Answer: - What do all three speakers care about? - What is the main difference? - How are the ideas connected? - What conclusion can you create? 2. Quick Review — 5 Minutes Summary A summary reports the ideas separately: “Speaker A prefers working from home. Speaker B prefers the office. Speaker C supports a flexible schedule.” Synthesis A synthesis connects the ideas: “Although the speakers prefer different work environments, they all want to be productive. Working from home may support concentration, while office work improves collaboration. A flexible schedule could combine both advantages.” Remember: Summary = What did they say? Synthesis = How do their ideas fit together? Use this structure: Represent → Compare → Connect → Conclude 3. Useful Language — 4 Minutes Represent - Speaker A focuses on… - Speaker B emphasizes… - Speaker C introduces… Compare and Connect - All three speakers agree that… - The main difference is… - While one speaker emphasizes…, another focuses on… - These ideas are connected because… - These perspectives are complementary. Conclude - Taken together, these ideas suggest… - A balanced conclusion would be… - The most practical solution may be… 4. Breakout Group — 18 Minutes Question What helps people do their best work? Each student chooses one factor:
Synthesize.
