Your Sales Pipeline
What does your sales pipeline look like even if you haven’t made a sale yet?

@Shaz Jones I mainly track metrics around visibility, engagement and actual business outcomes. For digital channels, that includes organic traffic, search rankings, impressions, clicks, engagement, leads/inquiries and conversions. I also look at which content or channels are actually generating conversations rather than just views. I’m still working on building a more structured tracking system around the full journey from visibility to lead to customer.

@Shaz Jones Yes, I’ve noticed some changes. Search is becoming more competitive, and AI is changing how people discover and consume information. I still see traditional SEO fundamentals like search intent, technical structure, quality content and internal linking playing an important role, but I think the way we measure visibility is becoming broader than just traditional rankings.
Slow progress and NO progress are not the same thing.
But most people treat them like they are. No progress only compounds to nothing. But slow progress can compound into a future fortune. Every giant tree starts slowly from one tiny seed. But if you don't sow and you leave that same powerful seed on the shelf it grows into nothing at all. Apparently Albert Einstein said, “The most powerful force in the Universe is compound interest.” Small numbers that keep growing are the most powerful thing in business. A single dollar becomes two, then twenty, then fifty and a hundred dollars. A hundred becomes two hundred. Two hundred becomes five hundred. Five hundred becomes two thousand. And two thousand becomes the month that changes everything. But only if you don't quit when it looks s-l-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-w. Quitting *guarantees* no progress! I heard this today from @Mark Douglas : "The beginning was ugly. The middle was quiet. But the end looked like cheating!" Trust me it gets easier, and it gets faster. The people who built something real? Almost every single one of them *almost* quit at the same exact point... Right before it started working. When I first started on Skool my affiliate earnings (passive income) was only $4 in the first month. But it was $4 that hapened without me doing any work. And it keeps coming in month after month without me doing any work while I'm out enjoying my life. Now that $4 (and others like it) has compounded into over $100. That's still small for some. But I can see the day when it compounds into more than a $1,000 - and beyond. TURN THE TAP ON. Don't worry about how small the first drops are ... it can soon become a more powerful stream of income than you ever imagined. If you haven't started yet, here's the first step #Make Your First Skool Dollar $

@Shaz Jones I really relate to this. In digital work, slow progress can be difficult to appreciate because the results often don’t show immediately. Whether it’s SEO, content, social media or building an audience, there can be a long period where the numbers look small. I’ve learned that the important thing is to keep improving the process and measuring the small wins. Consistent small actions can eventually create results that would have been impossible if you had stopped early. The key difference really is continuing to move forward, even when progress feels slow.

@Shaz Jones Absolutely. I think that’s especially important when you’re building something that compounds over time. Not every step will produce an obvious result immediately, but tracking the process and making small improvements helps you see whether you’re actually moving in the right direction.
About Your Last YouTube Video
I just saw this tweet from Mr Beast - he spent about $10Million and more than a 1,000 hours on his last video. I usually grab my phone, film what I'm thinking about, upload it and I'm done within half an hour at no cost. Might explain why he has over 500 million subscribers and he gets WAY more traffic than I do! lol What's your YouTube process?

@Shaz Jones Absolutely. I use a combination of AI tools depending on the type of content. ChatGPT and Gemini are my main tools for ideas, research, scripts, captions and content planning. I also use AI tools for generating images and videos for social media and ads, and CapCut for editing and final production. For YouTube, I also use VidIQ for keyword research, topic ideas and optimization. I agree with you about the long-form-to-shorts feature — sometimes the tool picks moments that don’t necessarily feel like the strongest highlights. I usually prefer to review the content myself and decide which moments have the strongest hook and context. I’m always testing different AI tools because the workflows are changing so quickly. What I’m most interested in is finding tools that actually improve the content rather than just making production faster.

@Shaz Jones Exactly, Shaz. Speed is useful, but if the tool is selecting the wrong moments, we still end up spending time fixing the output. I think the real value comes when AI helps with both efficiency and better content decisions.
Whop.com
Anyone tried Whop? I’m experimenting. It’s very impressive so far! The AI asks you a few simple questions then creates your product, website and everything you need to start making money online - in just minutes! You can even run communities and courses etc like Skool.

@Jenelle Livet That’s interesting, especially since you’ve actually set up a course and communities on Whop. I’m curious how are you currently getting people to discover your course and bringing traffic to it? Is most of it coming from Skool/social media, or are you doing anything with SEO and content to bring in new people?

@Shaz Jones Interesting. I’ve been looking at how platforms like this can help with launching and selling digital products. One thing I’m curious about though once the product and website are created, how are people actually getting consistent traffic and new customers to them? Is Whop helping with that side too, or do you still need to handle marketing and SEO separately?
Recreate your fave gif
I'm having some fun today - I blame @Stephanie Kara for getting me thinking of creativity. So if you can't recreate a GIF at least nominate someone else you'd like to see recreate a gif. Here's mine - and the one I nominated for @Des Dreckett in Skoolers. Join in the fun!

Haha this looks fun Sharon 😄 Love the creativity! I’m not sure I can recreate a GIF perfectly, but I’d love to join in.
