Introducing: Cadence 🎬 I’ve been building a free desktop video editor specifically for Ai Music Videos, and today marks the first version that is worth sharing! The workflow is simple: Make your clips with whatever tools you like, then connect your AI agent to import and organize them into the app. From there, you can compare takes, mark your favourites, save the best moments, and drag them onto the timeline. Cadence also generates timed lyrics from your song, so you can see where you are while arranging your video. A few things before you install: - Windows only for now. Free early access. - The download is 1.85 GB because the lyrics engine and its AI model are included. - The installer isn’t digitally signed. Today comfyui added support for YUE2 so my first instinct was to create an app that writes lyrics and automatically creates the song in comfy. All at the press of one button (once it's setup). All vibe-coded using Cursor (with Grok 4.6). Still has a bit of a way to go, especially in creating decent lyrics. I've added some nice fluff like fully synced lyrics, audio conversion for tracks to download. YUE2 is awesome, is it as good as Suno? No, but it's the best local music generator we have at the moment. I'l throw up a github link once I've polished it a lot more if anyone is interested :)
