Hello there. My name is Sam. I’m a photographer and fine art printer. My background is in analog photography, where I spent nearly 20 years working as a traditional black-and-white printer and developing film by hand. As photography transitioned into the digital world, I adapted and became proficient in a wide range of digital imaging, retouching, scanning, color management, and printing workflows. Most of my work has been within the arts, often working directly with artists in their studios. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to work across many areas of photography, including fashion, portraiture, fine art, journalism, and, more recently, working with painters and other visual artists. Working alongside so many talented artists has probably been the best education I could have asked for. I also specialize in large-format fine art printing and personally own and operate a Canon 60-inch large-format printer. Lately, I’ve been developing and collecting my own work with the idea of eventually producing a series of wall art prints. At the moment, I’m printing a group of works for an artist’s upcoming exhibition, including one piece measuring approximately 119 × 180, which will be produced in multiple sections. I’m here to continue learning, exchange ideas, and see what everyone else is creating.
