@Amber Nova That’s actually a great way to look at it. I agree that a side hustle doesn’t necessarily need to replace your main business, even creating an additional, scalable income stream can make a big difference. I haven’t seriously explored an e-commerce side project yet, but it’s definitely something I’ve been thinking about. With my background in GHL, automation, funnels, and integrations, I could see a lot of opportunities to build the systems around an e-commerce business. Your real estate + dropshipping setup sounds interesting though. How are you currently connecting the two, if at all?

@Amber Nova Yeah, absolutely. I think it would be worth having a quick call and discussing the e-commerce business and where automation could fit in. I can also show you some of the automation systems I’ve built and we can explore a few ideas together. I’ve also sent you a DM so we can coordinate there. Let me know if you have some time this weekend for a quick call.
Looking for my GoHighLevel hero
Hey, I’m new here 👋 I run a lead-gen agency and spend half my life fighting with GoHighLevel, so I’m hoping there’s a clever man in here who can rescue me next time it misbehaves 😂

Welcome to the GHL rabbit hole, @Jamie Burger 😄 The good news is, once you understand what’s happening behind the scenes, most of those “why is GHL doing this?” moments become pretty straightforward to troubleshoot. I’ve spent a lot of time working on the automation, workflows, funnels, integrations, and the weird edge cases that GHL loves throwing at us. Happy to be one of the heroes in the community when it decides to misbehave. 🦸‍♂️

@Jamie Burger Haha, I know exactly what you mean 😂 GHL has a talent for turning a simple question into a full investigation. Once you know where to look, though, those rabbit holes get a lot easier to escape! 😄
SendBlue vs A2P
Does anyone send SM via SendBlue vs getting verified for A2P? Pros and Cons of each?

Hey @Vipul Mistry , I’ve used SendBlue for SMS, but for GHL I’d lean toward getting A2P verified. SendBlue can be simpler to get started with, but if you’re planning to scale SMS volume and keep everything inside GHL, A2P gives you a much cleaner long-term setup and better control over the messaging infrastructure.
Question
Hey guys, i got a question. I am selling review management. I am in the Netherlands, and the sms costs for using GHL with their number is really expensive over here, like 20 cents per sms, so I am forced to use WhatsApp, not really a big issue since Whatsapp has an even higher response rate and trust here than SMS. Only problem is, to connect whatsapp to GHL and the review automation, i would have to connect my client's WhatsApp/phone number to GHL, and then every review request and every message that will be sent through GHL will also be seen on their Whatsapp on their phone. Would you consider this an issue? For instance, if i would do a review database reactivation, and i will send review requests to their whole list, that means that their Whatsapp app will be totally filled with lots review request messages, and perhaps annoying them with it, while they are trying to search for the conversations they have with their current customers. And they will also see all the messages that are being sent through GHL and maybe think 'i could do this myself'. I'm not sure if they would actually think that, or if this is even an issue, but i would like to know your perspective on this, thank you.

Hey @Evan Schouten , I don’t think it’s necessarily an issue, especially if the client is already comfortable using WhatsApp for business. The bigger concern is the volume of review requests. If you’re reactivating an old database and sending hundreds of messages, having all of those conversations appear in their main WhatsApp could definitely make the inbox messy. A separate WhatsApp number dedicated to review automation would be the cleaner approach. That keeps their normal customer conversations separate while still giving you the benefit of WhatsApp’s higher engagement.

Hey everyone, glad to be here! I’m looking forward to learning more about HighLevel, SaaS, and the agency side of things. Excited to connect with everyone and see what I can learn from the community.

Welcome, Yurina! 👋 HighLevel + SaaS + agency side is a great combination to explore. There’s a lot of practical stuff to learn here, especially when it comes to turning GHL into systems that actually help businesses grow. What part are you most interested in diving into first — GHL, SaaS, or the agency side?

@Yurina Daine That’s actually a great place to start. I’d focus less on learning individual GHL features and more on understanding how to build a complete client acquisition and follow-up system around a business. For example, lead comes in → instant response → qualification → appointment booking → reminders → no-show follow-up → nurture → reactivation. Once you understand how those pieces work together, GHL becomes much more powerful. And once you start seeing those systems as repeatable frameworks, the SaaS side starts making a lot more sense too. Happy to share some of the systems I’ve built if you ever want to compare notes.
