We Made the Front Page
For there are so many events happening each week in hundreds of Skool communities across the platform and it’s hard to keep up with everything. About a year ago, my new friend and community member @Heather Wilson created Skool Events Daily to solve that challenge. This week, we made the cover. If you’re looking for other events, check it out and if you’re a community owner like @Auli Takala, @Chanie Twersky, @Celia Kibler, and @Tosca Fasso you may want to consider joining the community. From the Editor: The latest Skool Events Daily Weekly Bulletin is out! 🎉 This week’s edition is packed with amazing events and opportunities to connect, learn and grow, as always. ✨ Editor's Picks: Play, Purpose & Connection — featuring events from the summit being held in Connected Through Play, including: 🎤 When Dad Has Nothing Left 🤖 Play It Again, Claude! 🔬 Simple Science in the Kitchen and more family-focused sessions designed to bring people together. We also have: 🌟 Partner Spotlight featuring Justin Yip and his work helping entrepreneurs build aligned businesses. 💡 Experts Corner — Why Events Are The Heartbeat Of A Community — sharing why connection and community matter. 🎨 Unplug & Play — a full week of free family summit sessions covering creativity, cooking, technology, experts and more. Plus dozens of live events, workshops, masterminds and community experiences happening this week. Click on the link then click on the words "Weekly Bulletin" on the front cover to get to the events. https://designrr.page/?id=514222&token=859082334&type=FP&h=9542

On Saturday We Bake
I’m writing this a little after 5:00 am on Saturday morning. The house is quiet, the tea is brewing, and while we are in different locales, I know @Sandy Chong and I are lining up ingredients and getting ready to bake. Today, @Henry Hunter has chosen Monkey Bread for our bake. I’m going classic sweet but he’s also provided four savory options. Have you ever had monkey bread? I used to make it for the kids- simple fast- yummy. A couple cans of biscuit dough, sugar, cinnamon, gooey yumminess. Today, I learn how to make it from scratch. The recipe looks pretty easy and is ideal for kids helping in the kitchen. I’m using this recipe: https://recipepantry.app/recipes/monkey-bread If you get adventurous and try it come on and share your results here. If you’re a curious baker, Henry is doing a recorded recipe session that you can use at home and then on Wednesday August 19, he’s doing a live session. Check the calendar for the time. Image from Pampered Chef. I can’t find my Bundt pan so I may use a cast iron skillet or loaf pan. Have you ever had monkey bread?

@Andrew Brooks Cool and love it. My friends were crazy over him and they loved going to Disney World just because of him. You been to Disney World? 🤗❤️🪲

@Andrew Brooks Yes, those were the good old days. We did the same and it was a lot of fun and adventure.
Twas the Night Before the Summit
’Twas the night before the summit, and through the community, Families were planning their week of curiosity. The calendar was checked. The favorites were marked. Four classrooms stood ready, though still quiet and dark. The flour was waiting. The yarn was nearby. The robot had stories it wanted to try. The guitar was tuned. The questions were brewing. The speakers were busy their notes they were reviewing. Parents were asking, “Which sessions are we doing?” Some planned to cook. Some planned to create. Some wanted the portraits before it got late. Some said, “We’ll watch the replay. We’re always behind.” And I, at my keyboard, with tea close at hand, Was checking each classroom and reviewing the plan. Tomorrow the doors open. The waiting is done. A week of connection, learning, and fun. You do not need perfection. You do not need it all. Choose what fits your family and answer curiosity’s call. Then close out the calendar and get some sleep tonight. Unplug & Play begins tomorrow. It’s sure to delight! Let’s make it memorable. See you there.

3 Days! Are You Excited?
The calendar is filled. The classroom is almost ready. Our speakers are preparing. And Unplug & Play is beginning to feel very real. On Sunday, we stop talking about what is coming and start cooking, creating, questioning, experimenting, and playing together. You do not need to attend every session or create the perfect summit plan. Choose the experiences that make your family curious. Add one that stretches you a little. Leave room for something unexpected. The complete schedule of live events is waiting in the calendar. Take another look today and tell us: Which session has already earned a place on your family’s must-do list? P.S. While you are waiting, why not explore the active classrooms?
