Came across this repo called Superpowers by Jesse Vincent (obra/superpowers on GitHub). Haven't run it yet, but it's near the top of my "try this week" list and I wanted to put it on your radar before I forget. It's a skills framework that bolts a real software development workflow onto your coding agent. Instead of the agent jumping straight into writing code the second you ask for something, it steps back, brainstorms the spec with you, shows you the design in chunks you can actually read, builds an implementation plan, then runs through it with test-driven development and subagent reviews.
