'Tis time to start planning our next live workshop! What topic(s) would you be most excited to learn about right now?? We could tackle something seasonal, like preparing your garden for winter, or we could dive into a specific topic or crop and walk through everything you need to know from start to finish! I've put some ideas below, but if you're in between a few or there's something else you've been wanting to learn, 𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗽 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮(𝘀) 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀!
It’s mid September and my fall crops is planted. Mostly greens. A few tomatoes and as many herbs as I can grow. Oh and a pumpkin that was gifted by a friend pictured. What’s going on in your garden right now?
Y'all!! LOOOOK!! MY VERY FIRST PEAR!!! 🍐🍐🍐 I'M SO EXCITED!! And yes, I did have an entire photoshoot with it (and its sibling, which is not quite ripe yet, behind me) 🤣
Just started some more seeds today! Lettuce, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, Brussels sprouts, celery, herbs, and more! What's on your fall growing list? Have you started your seeds yet?
@Megan Webb I actually started off with an 11 by 14 foot greenhouse a few winters ago for Christmas. I set it upon New Year’s Day that same year. When March can I pull the plastic greenhouse cover off and let it get full sun until mid June and then put shade cover over until October harvesting lettuce and greens early June and then tomatoes and peppers in July and again early November. I just started my lettuce, various kinds and added some basil and Italian parsley yesterday.
thats a great idea. I just decided to start them outdoors. Also I just decided that I should probably get some reading glasses. lol 😂 I misread your comment twice! lol.
My fall seeds are sprouting! And I may or may not get unreasonably excited when I have new seedling babies! Anyone else feel that way?? I feel like it's the equivalent of puppy or kitten photos, but for gardeners 🤣 Bonus points if you add a photo of your fall seedlings!
