YOU CAN FEED YOUR EGO...
...OR YOU CAN FEED YOUR FUTURE. Too many business owners spend every last penny trying to look successful: - The impressive office. - The expensive car. - The enormous team. - The carefully curated social-media presence. ....A polished facade, hiding a financially fragile business. I’ve mentored thousands of business owners over more than a decade. On the surface, nearly all of their businesses look successful. In reality, I’d estimate that fewer than 20% are making genuinely great money. Some are growing. Many are surviving. Others are quietly failing. I recently examined a business turning over £2–3 million every month. From the outside, it looked enormous and unstoppable. Look beneath the surface, however, and one badly timed payroll could have pushed it into crisis. As Warren Buffett said: “You only find out who is swimming naked when the tide goes out.” Turnover feeds your ego. Profit feeds your business. Cash feeds your future. If your bank balance, personal wealth or business value isn’t increasing over time, ask yourself the uncomfortable question: Is your business genuinely working... ....or are you simply working hard to make it look as though it is? Don’t confuse activity with accomplishment. Don’t let pride become your downfall. Build wealth, not the appearance of it. Are you funding the facade - or building the fortune?

Strong 💪 post @Mike Greene - and Sunday was a full on day preparing for today. Let’s see where we get to, with the presentation today!
Appointment booked
@Mike Greene Hey Mike, on the call today after you recommended that I contact that lady and book the appointment, I actually done it straight away instead of waiting for our call to finish. I done it there and then and I was hoping to get a response before the call ended, but literally just as the call ended that’s when I got the WhatsApp reply. When I messaged her, I was gonna either give her a few options of times or I was going to ask her for her availability but then I changed my mind and I just made the decision and gave a specific time, instead of 6 o’clock on Tuesday. I decided 6:30 as it was more of a specific time and she’s booked it so I’m going to see her Tuesday at 6:30. Thanks Mike for your advice as always it’s awesome.

I started dialogue on Linked in with a lady CEO with a multimillion dollar business, as she liked my post, and nailed it! Meeting booked for 1030am PST this week, and about to send the Zoom link to her email! All from connecting and reaching out saying I wanted to introduce My Family Heritage into the USA 🇺🇸 and she came back wanting it for her personally for her family. I did not wait, and responded within minutes, I think 🤔 that made ALL the difference @Sam Davis @Mike Greene

Another game-changing live group session this morning:
Most people think they're tired. They're not. They're bored ....and there's a difference that changes everything. This is a raw, unedited group mentoring session with real business owners. No script. No theory. Real businesses, real problems, real answers ....the kind of straight talk you'd normally pay thousands for a seat at. In this session: 🔥 Why "I'm just tired" is almost never true - and the one question to ask yourself every time you feel flat (this alone is worth the watch) 🔥 "Sometime is no time" - the vague little phrase that quietly kills deals, and the 30-second message that locks them in instead 🔥 The Les Brown "bad death" - the most haunting 2 minutes in this entire session. Once you've heard it, you'll never procrastinate the same way again 🔥 Half of your competitors never even send the quote. Proof from 20 years of hiring trades - and how to beat most of the market by simply showing up 🔥 The busy fool's disease: why doing GOOD things all day is exactly what's keeping you broke 🔥 The 7 Ps that separate professionals from the people running around on Monday morning 🔥 MMFI - the invisible tattoo on every customer's forehead, and how one member used it to sell a brand new service before he'd even sent a quote 🔥 The 1,000 contacts sitting in your phone right now - and the maths that turns 2% of them into a six-figure year 🔥 Why you should NEVER give exclusivity away free, how airline-style dynamic pricing works for quotes, and the £49 trick that more than doubled attendance at free events Plus: why holidays are when people change their lives, training in real conditions vs perfect ones, and the deposit psychology that stops customers shopping around. https://youtu.be/89OPCMFSb3g?si=Z18xoQ2qymsBIa2g This is what happens inside The Growth Syndicate every week - business owners getting bare-knuckle honest mentoring and walking away with actions, not notes. 👉 Want in the room next time? Join us every Weds at 7pm or Sat at 8.30am

The Les Browns ‘bad death” hit hardest @Mike Greene and will remain with me! And it really was a strong 💪 session with loads of takeaways!
Old Dog, New Tricks ?? ⛔️
YOU CAN’T WIN NEW GROWTH WITH AN OLD TEAM, AN OLD ATTITUDE AND OLD SYSTEMS Every business owner says they want growth. - More customers. - More revenue. - More profit. - More freedom. But many are trying to create a new future using exactly the same people, thinking and systems that created their current results. That doesn’t work. If you want something new, something has to change. That might mean: - Developing the team you have… or accepting that some people cannot come on the next stage of the journey. - Challenging attitudes that resist change, avoid accountability or settle for “good enough”. - Replacing outdated systems that waste time, lose opportunities and depend too heavily on you. - Growth isn’t simply doing more of what you’ve always done. It’s having the courage to question what, and sometimes who, got you here, but won’t get you there. If you want something new, you need to do something different. So, looking honestly at your business today, what most needs to change: the team, the attitude or the systems?

Or you!! The change needs you to make the change! @Mike Greene Totally agree, but also would add the change needs to come from within, and after a lot of soul searching, I was the problem, getting in my own way, if that makes sense! I would have procrastinated over the small things let alone the big things! Now, bam 💥 decision made, wipe your face and move on mentality has made a massive difference in my business & life.

@Mike Greene Wow it truly is as simple as adapt or die. I am also pushing AI more and more into everything I do as this technology makes such a difference and again if you don’t use it, then others will!
Listening in to Mike’s podcast….. pure brilliance and great takeaways!
I caught this podcast that @Mike Greene completed earlier this year, and I must say it was a great listening finishing up my day today. The biggest takeaway I got was having the DRIVE, to get to where Mike had set a goal to achieve, instead of a need to do something. This could be from working more to get the takeaway at the end of the week in the early days, right the way to present days goals which are very different! I loved the raw honesty and definitely worth the time, as so many nuggets, ending up with speaking about Mike’s goals now self made and not having the financial pressures, which is where I want to get to, in my rebuild of business & life! Thanks Mike for being so open, and happy to share this with the Board Community as this may help others as it did me 🙏 Catch this link of pure gold! https://share.google/PPDXJ7oawfKMk4icJ
