One thing I appreciate about the ECA internship is that we are not only being instructed to complete simple labs. We are learning how to work through production responsibilities: reviewing Jira requirements, researching unfamiliar tasks, documenting evidence, communicating blockers, and considering how our work may affect the environment. Learning a tool is important. Learning how to use it responsibly is just as important.
